One of the big problems with this version that you can't really tell from the video is the part with the Dreamfinder on his vehicle is a large revolving plate with 5 of the Dreamfinders, the cars would lock in and the whole thing would spin around, and it broke a lot. It seems like there should have been a better option than just rewrite the whole thing.

Same. It was a much more “complete” ride. During d23 they brought up a picture of the imagination pavilion and I got really excited that it might finally be returned to its former glory. Nope, a figment meet and greet haha.

Thanks for sharing this home video footage! I love Dreamfinder and Figment and wish I could have experienced this in person. At least I have the Disney Kingdoms Figment comics based on the ride to read at my leisure. :)

Yep, this was the original version that ran from 1983-1998. They renovated it after losing the pavilion sponsor which included shortening and taking out a lot of beloved scenes. Thanks for watching!
