Album was released in July 1981…just finished my junior year in high school. That record was everyone’s favorite my senior year of 1982. Journey was so good. Thanks so much…just takes me back.

Moutain Aire was so fun. I attended several including '81. My friends and I had just graduated high school in the Central Valley and decided this was our last chance to party before leaving for college or the Service. So on Saturday, June 13, 1981 we sat on a grassy hillside soaking up sun while listening to Billy Squier, Hall & Oates and Journey. Great music and memories.

At least we have this Calaveras concert. I wish we could hear the full concert of the 1986 concert. There should be at least a soundboard. Someone put an instrumental of the Mountain Aire concert with the intro of Suzanne.

The band was on fire in `81. Amazing musicianship. Perry is unmatched. Party's Over ends with killer solo Neal Their Escape songs sound so great after rehearsing and recording. These guys were on top of their game

Just graduated from Ponderosa High School on the 5th. This was my first Mountainaire concert. I have my ticket stub and several pictures from the day! I would go on to see Journey 20 more times. They were my favorite until Steve left. Will never accept the dude Schon & Cain chose to take Perry's place. 🤢
