You can definitely hear the Sam Cooke influence in Steve Perry’s vocals in this song. Sam Cooke was his favorite singer. Also this song is about his girlfriend cheating on him. He actually saw her kissing the guy in his car. I would really hate to be the girl he wrote this song about. 😂

They are a canadian power metal band, their lead singer, Brittney Slayes is a beast with an incredible range. you should check them out, great songs are Awakening, General of the Dark Army, Abyss, Faster than Light.
