To be honest, there's a lot of useless talking and you repeat yourself a lot. This one could have been 20 minutes.

Something the anime doesn't really convey is that young Shino actually got injured during that event in the post office. The recoil caused her to dislocate her shoulder which can be very painful. While yes, she does wince, but that injury (which was described in the light novel) possibly helped attribute to her fear of guns.

I decided to skip on that detail, as it wasn't really contributing to the narrative in a meaningful way, it was just a detail. The video was already 27 minutes so certain things had to be cut. Like, I was gonna explain how the "Underwater" gimmick worked in GGO, as well as a comparison with AGGO's LLENN lying in the water scene, but sacrifices had to be made...

That was long but pretty detailed as well! My favourite moment of this arc is when Kirito actually forget about his gun but at the same time something helped him to reach for it. It was Asuna~ She wasn't in this arc a lot but little moments like this was enough. Once best girl always best girl

Well, the games are a separate contimuity, even if some events from the anime do occur. This happened with the mind control plot of Sugou occurring in the Aincrad game "RE: Hollow Fragment" instead of the Alfhiem Online game "Lost Song"

Honestly one of my favourite parts of SAO, mostly due to Death Gun. Despite not having too much screen time (maybe a little more than an episode and a half), he definitely left an impression. Such a shame FB underused him. Honestly though, most of the problems people have with this arc can be answered with the Dual Wield Skill. "Dual Wielding is rewarded to the player with the fastest reaction time." The only other person we knew that had faster reflexes is Yuuki, as stated in the next major arc (will you be covering Excalibur BTW?). Great video Gamerturk :) Looking forward to the feels D'X

Reaction time is one thing, but again, you need more than just reaction time to block bullets. As I explained in the Sinon v Kirito scene, a proper expectation is required to start swinging the sword at the right time. Swinging a sword as things are fired from a short distance is not enough to make it. And yes, I plan on covering Calibur, but don't expect too much from a sidestory, probably won't even take 3 minutes of my video :/

The only times I've used guns in games would be with Alfred Vint Svent in Tales of Xillia who wields a greatsword in one and a gun in the other hand which is similar to Kirito's photon sword and handgun in Sao PB, I also have played Tales of Xillia 2 with Ludger who wields dual pistols and dualblades and a hammer, you can switch Ludger's weaponry around, I also have played Hubert in Tales of Graces with dual pistols, I've also played FFXV which has Prompto wielding guns and knives, I've also played Trails of cold steel where Machias wields a shotgun and last of all there's dead rising 1 and 2 with Frank west and Chuck Greene which I've played too.

I recently thought about what ifs in my head about what if Kikuoka hired Tsuboi Ryatarou to fight death gun instead of Kirito. Klein could literally team up Sinon to take on death gun and then the government take the shinkawa brothers to prison. I also thought what if Kikuoka hired Dyne to help Sinon battle and defeat death gun. I also thought what if Kirito and Klein and Sinon fought death gun. I know 3 on 1 is good here. These what if were interesting to think about.

Fun fact: in fatal bullet you're right leg is not protected by Sword barrier.. which is awesome.. looks like Kirito can only block the predicted bullet lines XD

Well, from far away, he does still react based on bullet lines, since it makes a huge difference if it's an Assault Rifle bullet from 300m or a huge anti-materiel Sniper Rifle from 10 meters.

Damn that's amazing I don't get it why Laughing Coffen (Red XaXa) was here in GGO in the first place after I watched SAO: II years ago From Season II after I watched the episodes, Not gonna lie, I know every Firearms in Weapons (M1911, Beretta 92, Five-Seven, Ak-47, H&k Sub & Rifles, & other Firearms) including Photon Sword Star Wars reference: Photon sword Aka Lightsaber Just make sure you know of Non-Canon, Kirito and his friend never played GGO before in SAO Gameverse. I looked up online just to clarify if Hecate and Barret were actually real life guns turns out they were. They're the weapons that Sinon and Subtilizer use against each other in war of underworld incase anyone doesn't know.

Pretty much all the physical guns are real actually. Sigsawa helped Reki a lot with the guns and stuff, before requesting to write his own stories in GGO, which became Alternative Gun Gale Online. He's a gun nut.

This arc was at least quite fun, GGO is fundamentaly probably even worse game than SAO was but the arc itself was fun to watch, once again except for the rapey scenes :D Great video as always man, I absolutely love your attempts at explaining how Kirito is a freaking god computer in these situations :D Even if I understood how he is supposed to be able to do that, the suspension of disbelief is broken so much just by that explanation that actually hearing it explained well is even more hilarious than when the anime tried to do it. Also, do you know why Kirito introduced Asuna as his friend? That has always bugged the hell out of me.

The reason why Kirito is modest about their relationship is essentially because... Well, Japanese people are very modest in that aspect. PDA, while not frowned upon, is still avoided in Japanese culture and not calling her as his "girlfriend" is part of that modesty.

Yea, thats what I thought, it comes across as something completely else, especially considering all the odd ways the anime made him physically interact with Shinon but yea that would be way too scummy :D

Ahahah, there were 2 reasons why Kirito was so openly physical with Sinon. The first one being that she found Sinon's extreme seriousness to be incredibly teasable, which you'll see more of in Alicization towards Alice and Eugeo, already visible in Episode 1, but will be much more obvious towards the future. the second reason was that it was in VR, where it makes the PDA much more "acceptable" than in real life, making it easier to tease people physically. It's essentially how people act completely differently in online games in this day and age, as they would in a real life situation.

The only sao MMO is Integral Factor on the android and iOS. The other games are mostly single player with multiplayer options.

As melon said, Integral Factor is the closest an SAO game has ever been to an MMO. Games like Fatal Bullet or Hollow Realization are single player imitations of an MMO. They try to have the atmosphere of an MMO, but they are Single Player story driven games.
