Join me on an immersive journey to a SECRET VILLAGE deep in the Karakoram Mountain range of Hunza Valley in the stunning territory of Gilgit Baltistan.
In this Northern Pakistan travel vlog, you'll get to come along as we hike 16km total to the VERY first settlement of Hunza Valley: Avgarch.
Avgarch is at least 900 years old, and still to this day locals from surrounding villages come to their homes and lands up here.
We get the full experience when an incredible local woman who is living in Avgarch alone invites us in for some chai, chats, and even some incredible Wakhi-style cheese!
This is one of my absolute favorite places in Pakistan and I can't wait to take you along across glacial rivers, over rockface, and across rickety wooden bridges to this secret village where people still live traditional lifestyles.
We'll even see some ICONIC animals like IBEX run across the mountains, and we'll get up close and personal with many yaks and livestock!
Get ready for a village and trekking journey that's been one of my favorite Pakistan travel experiences to date!
