This video showed a side of Brandon Lilly I never thought existed. Very touching, very inspiring. I wish him all the best in his recovery. Animal has damn near brought me tears with this video series. It just goes to show that powerlifting is so much more than some sport or hobby. Truly humbled. Thank you Animal.

Breaks my heart to see his passion and motivation and that it's all taken away from him due to his current injury... Hope you'll recover well and make the trip in the future!! Good luck Brandon and hope you'll fully recover to continue your love / hate relationship with the weightroom!!

Brandon is a prime of example of, it’s not about being the guy that people are intimidated by or threatened by, it’s about being the guy that picks people up when they’re down, the guy who’s there for you when you need a friend, or need help. That’s what it’s all about.

What a great ambassador for our sport, well spoken and intelligent. I like the way how he doesn't have to swear or act tough to capture the viewers attentions, he's just being himself and he's a very interesting chap. I for one am now a Brandon Lilly fan.

All these videos to watch here always motivate me and make me seek to win every day, both in practice and in life. This sport is wonderful, he is able to change anyone's life and you just want to devote.

As always another great episode. I think everyone should get into sports/athletics of some kind. To be able to see your potential and the truth inside of you is very empowering. Besides all the other obvious benefits, a study was done where they found consistent, strenuous exercise was more effective than taking anxiety/anti-depression meds for people with that disposition. As a person who was on meds when I was younger I say stop feeding the billion dollar pharmaceutical companies, get off your ass and go lift something heavy.

i remember in gym class in high school the teacher was going to show us how to bench press. he had two plastic 25 lbs. plastic plates on the bar and as he was describing how to lower the bar to his chest he realized he couldn't push it back up. we were waiting...waiting... 'till his legs starting flying around and he started screaming for help! that's when i decided i should maybe start exercising! funny true story.
