Floyd's Barber Shop was what made all barbers popular and famous in the small towns like Mayberry and Thank You for me showing this and bringing back the memories of the old fashioned Barber Shops of the 50's,60's,as well as the 70's and the 80's(my years) Thank You.🇺🇲📺📻🇺🇲📺📻🇺🇲

Jeff is a huge asset to Floyd's Barbershop. What a story teller. Loved every minute of this video.

What a joy to watch this video. I must say that Jeff is definitely an asset to Floyd's Barber shop with his wonderful stories. I am a history lover and I really enjoy the nostalgia. The stories about the chairs and the cash register were marvelous. They just don't build things the way they used to. As a kid I grew up watching The Andy Griffith Show and still watch the reruns do to this day.Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane.

I kick myself every time I think about that I could have gone to Mayberry Days before Andy and Barney passed. That is my favorite show ever! I'll get to Mt Airy someday but I'll always regret not going when most of them were still alive. 😔

It is amazing how well those chairs have held up! They look so new too. Definitely don't make them like they used to.

Such a Wonderful Video and even better People. Theres nothing like Mount Airy, its medicine to the Soul. So many Amazing Stories. My heart is forever in Mayberry

We travel to Mt. Airy a few years ago during the Mayberry Days. We absolutely loved the Mayberry experience. During our visit, had breakfast at the Snappy Lunch, walked down the sidewalk on Main Street to Floyd’s. I had the privilege of actually getting my haircut at Floyd’s Barber Shop. These folks are as down home, and friendly as can be. Like Jeff, the barber not only gave me an excellent cut, but also told many witty stories about Mayberry. Good service, good conversation, and a good haircut at a reasonable price. Authentic Americana at its best. Thank you John for sharing this experience. My advice, be sure to enjoy everyday cause life is short. - Tennessee Smoky

Hi, I'm Rifan, I'm from Indonesia. I'm a professional barber. I've had experience for about 10 years. I've liked this profession since I was little. Now I'm 23 years old and I have a barbershop in Indonesia, but I really want to be a barber in America. It's interesting that I joined this barbershop. I'm very confident in my skills.

John you should ask your Barber where he gets his haircut? And what hair tonic he recommends. 🤩🤩🤩🤩 And I like how that guy's wife pulls some junk out of her husband's ear before floyd the the barber gets to it.
