Ive gkt two pairs of insulated hiking pants, ladies size 12 and 14. I would love to send them to someone who can use them, but im in Alabama. Is there an mailing address for Haven on the Hill ? I have some womens baselayers, as well. Anything else that might keep them more comfortable during these harsh winter days and nights ?!

Where are all of the disaster relief generators at. I have seen adverstisments for disaster relief generators for people to pull them and maintain them while on sight. These are huge generators that can power that whole campground. I havn't seen one of them yet but I"m not there so there may be some in NC just curiouse if they are being utilized.

I believe there is a reporting issue as FEMA reports the following: FEMA has obligated more than $292 million for 47 grants to support the Tropical Storm Helene recovery in North Carolina. More than $47.3 million in federal funds have been obligated to North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) for repairs to roads and bridges in the following counties: $3.64 million to Ashe County. $1.63 million to Avery County. $4.07 million to Buncombe County. $1.25 to Cleveland County. $2.08 million to Haywood County. $2.23 million to Henderson County. $3.17 million to Madison County. $3.3 million to McDowell County. $4 million to Mitchell County. $1.71 million to Polk County. $1.2 million to Rutherford County. $4.8 million to Watauga County. $14.3 million to Yancey County. We all continue to keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers. And President Trump gets you all the assistance you state needs to build it all back better.

I'm wanting to head that way maybe next week. I need to know where I can camp if I do make it there. I want to help with the relief, but I need a place to pitch a tent and it probably wouldn't hurt to have a place to take a shower every now and then and it probably wouldn't hurt to have a place to take a shower every now and then. I don't want to get so bad that I can smell myself. I'm an industrial electrician and I can likely find work about anywhere I go. The big city life isn't for me. I need to get back around some more country Folk. It's just me with a strong back and a strong mind and a will to do something decent with this life before I die. Maybe when I get to the next life I won't be living in a tent. Then again I don't really mind it. It's kind of my thing. Any suggestions on where to go? I'm coming from Winston-Salem when I was born in a little town called cooleemee NC. It's a long story but Winston-Salem in the apartment life just isn't for me. People everywhere where I live in no one speaks. I've been moving out for about a week now. I should be done by this weekend and I don't want to lose my momentum. To give you a hint on what's going on with me. I got signed on for an industrial electrical job but the start date wasn't what it was supposed to be. I have three weeks to come up with 2619.05. If I would have started when they said I would be okay, but the job started a month late and I wasn't getting the 70 hours a week that I was told. So I had one week to clear my stuff out of my apartment and it was a big job. On the third floor. I had to get it all out before I got locked out I was just in between a rock and a hard place, and to be perfectly honest with you, I wouldn't mind being around some of my own kind of people that help and give help when needed. Any advice would be helpful, and like I said earlier, I can get a job doing industrial electric work almost anywhere I go. 40 hours a week is like a vacation to me. I'll have plenty of energy left over to help with the recovery.

I so enjoy how the women make these businesses successful, we have a local store to shop as well. I always hope that this will be a real show of life, what profits are shared with these ladies and the younger women to allow them to share in the success they pretty much work for and build? I never see any men doing the labor that brings success to the business, interviews or locally. Like here, I'm watching the ladies work while a male walks around as if these hard working women are taking from their full pockets. Saw that in the 70s in the migrant farm worker hierarchy, creepy it still exists with women's labor today. I understand cultural beliefs, but if they have evolved to profit off mainstream America, I'd love to see behind the scenes of what these ladies actually earn as a shareholder / primary labor within today's profit off the lure of Amish culture.
