If this was the OST of a Hollywood movie it should at least be nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Soundtrack

The composer, Evan Call, is a Berklee graduate. I am a big fan of and listened to a lot of younger and older famous composers who are also Berklee graduates, however, Evan's compositions feel like home to me. Hollywood is a big joke. Composers are so restricted when it comes to scoring their bland movies. This score has won our hearts and no oscar can change that.

Yeah.. the critics for Oscars and other awards are extremely biased. There are time when some Japanese movies and compositions are better than Western ones yet they're not even nominated at all.

There is a theme called "The Ultimate Price", it can be heard in the the scene when Violet loses her second arm and she is with the wounded major at the stairs of the building before the explosion... well, that piece of music is supreme and if it was part of the soundtrack of a Hollywood movie it would definitely be nominated to an Academy Award

@@pyannn6783 For me, it's kinda popular in my country when it release with more than 1m viewers in many anime websites, this pretty rare for a drama (without romance) like VE in my country. Even the box office for the movie is very good
