Journey to Mount Sinai - new film in the Patterns of Evidence series | Interview with Tim Mahoney

The highly anticipated next instalment in the Patterns of Evidence films, Journey to Mount Sinai, produced by Thinking Man Films under the direction of Tim Mahoney is coming out shortly as a two-part film.
The film is an extension of the Patterns of Evidence: The Red Sea Miracle films as it continues the investigation of the route the Israelites took after leaving Egypt and crossing the sea, on their way to meet God at Mount Sinai.

While the majority of scholars continue to favour locating Mount Sinai at the traditional site of Jebel Musa (the mountain of Moses) in the southern Sinai Peninsula, there are reasons to question that thinking, including a lack of evidence there for an expansive Israelite presence at the mountain. Yet, modern day Exodus Explorers believe that this evidence for the Israelites’ time at Mount Sinai can be found in Saudi Arabia at a mountain known as the Jabal al Lawz.
When challenged that Mahoney isn’t looking at all the Mount Sinai candidates, he uses the trusted Patterns-of-Evidence approach to investigate other options. Examining details in the biblical text compared to geographical and archaeological information, he sets out to pin-point the mountain’s true location. Can he find the mountain where Moses encountered the burning bush and heard the voice of God commanding him to return with the Israelites?
Journey to Mount Sinai is the first of a 2-part series that will explore evidence for six of the most popular locations proposed for Mount Sinai. Journey to Mount Sinai II will be released early next year. Each film will explore three of the candidates.
A dynamic development with this film is the free Mount Sinai Scorecard which viewers will be able to download. It gives clues from the Bible allowing them to begin their own research before the film release. They can then follow along during the film’s investigation while assessing each of the six proposed contenders.

Many hypotheses, many possible places and different positions. But perhaps the place with more possibilities for everything discovered and analyzed; is Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia Jebel el Lawz. Thank you very much for the interview 👍. Galatians 4:25 For Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the Jerusalem of today, for it, together with its children, is in bondage. Radical Islamist groups confessed to an American military man (Ryan Mauro) that Jebel el Lawz is the mountain of God. Where an American aviator of the 2nd world war also declared that the Arabs did not let fly over a particular mountain with a dark green top because they said it was the mountain of God where Moses received the commandments. The Jewish writer Josephus talks about Mount Sinai being near a location called Al-bad and that name appears on ancient maps of Saudi Arabia. Also the names of Jethro and Moses appear in the oldest maps found by Dr. Kim of South Korea, he was the personal physician of the King of Saudi Arabia and who found the oldest menorah drawn in stone in the Arabian desert, having a royal safe-conduct allowed him to move freely through the country of Saudi Arabia where he found hundreds of artifacts and Biblical evidence. The couple Jim and Penny Caldweell who worked 10 years in a pre-control company in Saudi Arabia also found maps with Hebrew names in Arab cities, over the years they changed these names Sheba, Ashur and Reuben the Chaldea to Arabic names. That gives indications of the passage of the Hebrews through the land of Madian and Saudi Arabia. When the Hebrews were enclosed between the mountains and the Red Sea (Exodus 14:9-20), God restrained the Egyptians with the pillar of fire and smoke, there is a video where the ground is turned to glass due to a large amount of temperature for something like that to happen. Over the years they made a road to reach the beach of Nuweiba but a few years ago everything was intact and the ground was like molten glass. #There is a place called ground zero at the back of the summit of Mount Sinai, where there is a circle made perfect in its dimensions and part of the mountain is missing, as if something had landed on that part of the mountain and melted it or cut it off, who could have done that? #Finally you have the testimonies of the Bedouin villagers themselves who generation after generation proclaim different locations of the Biblical account from their ancestors and they are all confirmed and found in the same area of Jebel el Lawz and Horeb:>> -Elijah flees to Horeb and goes into the cave in the mountain of God (1 Kings 19:8-9). -The well of Moses (Exodus 2:16). -The two pillars that Solomon placed on the beach of Egypt and on the beach of Saudi Arabia indicating the crossing of the great Exodus and the following names engraved in archaic Hebrew: Pharaoh, Mizrain (Egypt), Moses, Moses, Moses and Moses. Mizrain(Egypt),Moses, Death, Water, Yahweh, Edom, Solomon (Exodus 23:31/1 Kings 9:26). -The mouth of the Red Sea, a canyon with no outlet (Exodus 14:1-3,9). -The city where Jethro the priest lived (Exodus 2:18-21). -The 70 palm trees and the 12 water wells of Elim (Exodus 15:27). -That area is a passage for the migration of birds and quails (Exodus 16:12-13). -The rock of Horeb where Moses struck the stone (Exodus 17:6). -The altar they made to Yehovah-Nissi after winning the battle against the Amalekites (Exodus 17:15). -There was an ancient river near Mount Sinai (Exodus 19:10). -The burned Mount Sinai on the top of the mountain for the glory of God where the rocks inside are of normal color and the outside burned (Exodus 19:18-20/20:18/24:17). -The sacrificial animal pen and the 12 pillars (Exodus 24:4-5). -The area where the 70 elders stood (Exodus 23:9). -The golden calf made by the rebellious Hebrews to the Egyptian god Apis-Athor with the drawings (Exodus 32:20). -In the area there are almond trees for Aaron's rod. When will part 2 come out??? I ordered the DVD & on the back of the DVD case it says it’s a two part series but only 1 DVD was in the case.

I have a question why don’t you ever discover a biblical character from the Bible and why don’t you guys ever talk about where some of the Ten Commandments came from in Africa. Remember Israel is Africa and the made up biblical story of the children of Israel began in Africa so why do y’all hide this important information from your viewers
