Thanks for including us in your Killarney adventure. Nellie Lake is so stunning and I love that there are only three sites to that lake!

I booked that exact site then broke my leg two months before I was to go. My best friend and I followed through with our plans and helped me hike that brutal portage from Murray lake with a cast on and crutches. I couldn’t walk but I made it there. It was one of the hardest but best things I’ve ever done. It was over two months ago and I still have calloused palms from the crutches. Great content, Love your videos! You’ve inspired me and my best buddy to purchase some packrafts for some new adventures. Keep the content coming! Ps if anyone is going to Nelly lake bring swimming goggles! The water is cold but my god it’s absolutely mind blowing with the goggles on.

Dude. That sounds like a mission. Portaging with a broken leg! A new level of suffering has been achieved. You'll love the packrafts, endless trip opportunities.

What an absolutely beautiful lake, can't wait to see more of it. That campsite is fantastic and that noodle dish for supper surely topped off the day! Thanks for sharing. :) :)

I actually couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it. It's almost erie in a way, but also peaceful.

Wow, that water is so clear. I am going to have to book a trip there this summer, and now I know which site to book.

Campsite and food are very important on trips like this....and also wine, that is equally important 😂

My wife and I got a Nemo insulated double sleeping pad, it's the best thing. Can hardly wait to take a spring trip before those little black devils grow wings.

I never thought I would get the double wide pad, but honestly, it makes sleeping easier as you don't slide around as much.you'll love it.

I'm really enjoying this trip. For 10 years I led portage clearing trips in the Boundary Waters, for the USFS, and I remember a 416 rod portage that was a beast. We got breaks when we had to cut trees off the portage.

Glad you like it. Still using rods? Haven't seen that in a while, I think it's about 5m to 1 rod, so 2km...yeah, that'll leave a mark 😃

@@Suluk46, yeah, they still use rods in the BWCA. 16 ½ feet per rod. I believe that used to be the length of most canoes.
