@@ronaldostraubeldeoliveira We stayed on Santa Catarina Island (Florianopolis). Visited restaurants and beaches all over the island. Drove on the mainland too. Visited Blumenau. I loved it all. Even the view of São Paulo from the airplane.

The burp is gold. 17:50. Food all around the Amazon seems similar. I had soup and fish dishes very similar in the Peruvian Amazon city of Leticia. Very tasty.

Very nice video of Manaus. I spent over two years from September of 1970 to October of 1972 in Manaus and Itacoatiara serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Your video reminded me of my first experience in Manaus after arriving from training in Belem do Para.

Eu mesmo brasileiro , nunca fui na Amazônia. Acho que.uns 80% ou mais tb. E sempre ficamos opinando. Mas a população local que vive nessa imensidão não influencia na política nacional. Very interesting! Was not expecting a big city in the Amazon or all the 19th century architecture.Loved the ornate theatre and the historic district and the markets.Certainly didn't expect a big,long beach and modern towers! The rubber tree latin name is Hevea Brasiliensis. Henry Ford tried to corner the rubber market or at least create his own source of rubbber for his car manufacturing by founding a rubber producing community called Fordlandia in the Amazon basin, ultimately unsuccessful but an interesting story.

I know people that have been around Brazil with no Portuguese knowledge at all so it can definitely be done. Especially in these big cities you can usually get cel phone reception everywhere so you can always use google translator 😁
