Hospitality shown in this video was absolutely beautiful. Brazilians are some of the most humble, kindest people on the planet. But Mark Wiens is probably one of the most genuine KZbinrs out there. Brazillians are very friendly and cool. The white Brazillian, the black, the brown, the yellow and anything in between, most of them will welcome you with open arm. If you show that you like their culture, they will love you back. If you are single, the will ask you to marry Brazillian and live there. Not only one person who say that, but many of them. It show how welcome Brazillian to the foreigner who love their culture. I have 1.5 years memorable stay in Brazil. Saudade!

@ I come from developing country and the crime rate in the big cities just almost the same like in Brazil. So I know how to navigate. But once I told my German acquaintance to be careful to walk in the night close to bus station, and he just laugh at me. This kind of foreigner that most likely will become a victim of criminal. They are so ignorant and just think it's like in their home town. But again, most of the big cities around the world they have the problem with criminals. But what I want to share is how good most of the Brazilian. If foreigner (especially from developing countries) come to US or Canada, I doubt they will receive a warm welcome like I experienced in Brazil. So do not make criminals cover and blind our eyes from the majority good Brazilian. That's what I want to say.

Those ladies remind me of my childhood where everyone in my neighborhood, especially on my street knew each other and were like family. We would go to each others house and their moms would treat us like their own kids and feed us. When we played outside everyone looked out for each other. Once a year we would have a huge street cookout when the street would be closed off from cars and tables would be set up in the streets and all types of food was cooked outside and spread out on the tables and we would play and feast all day. Those were the good ol' days.
