In this ASMR/bedtime science story, I tell you about Earth during the Pleistocene (aka "the Ice Age"). We explore what the planet was like, its geography, its climate, its fauna (especially the megafauna of mammals like mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers or mastodons), and the rise of the genus Homo, from the first Hominidae to Australopithecus species and various species of archaic humans (Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Homo Heidelbergensis, Homo Neanderthalis and finally Homo Sapiens).

Did you happen to change anything on your microphone? Your voice is even deeper and more robust than normal, it's great! Admittedly I just recently got a new desktop, so the sound system may be better as well, but I'm using the same headphones so I don't know if that would be the cause.

I didn't change anything to the recording settings, but a few videos ago I started increasing the volume so that people don't need to (or not as much as before). This could be the difference you noticed.
