I agree with Jeff: Keep it "forgotten." It is too beautiful. As a Canadian, I worked in what was then North Yemen (Saad'a which is a five-hour drive from Saan'a close to the Saudi Arabian border) I am sorry I had missed Socotra. The Red Sea itself is beautiful.
