If that did happen you could probably cut a hole in the door with an axe and just stand back as the snow caves in then dig your way out.

If you open the door to the interior it will let the heat escape and melt the snow on the door. If it's warm enough it will melt it with the door closed. Had the same setup once.

The doors need to push into the cabin for anywhere you have snow or high winds... especially the far outside door unless you have another entrance/exit where the door pushes inward from outside? from what I see you seem a person who takes care of things carefully...cleaning out your stove also the construction of your house shows your abilities. Well crafted, well made shelter!! Do you check carbon monoxide levels in your shelter? Curious how you get fresh air in the house??

Use the ash from the fire, add water and mix into a paste and use it for cleaning. It will also do an excellent job of cleaning the glass on the stove door. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Try and set up your stove before leaving, then when you get there just light it up and heat faster. Learned that from elders . Love cabin life .
