Again a very interesting story, thank you. I have a mixed attitude towards fungi because they (mystery yeasts) sent me to the hospital for a week as a teenager when I was dunked in the thermal lake of Heviz, Hungary and involuntarily swallowed a large mouthful of the peaty water. The doctors said that it can really get critical if that stuff gets into your bloodstream.

Just a warning: amatoxins are not broken down by cooking. The heat needed to destroy them would destroy the mushroom first. I'll grant that the video doesn't directly say they *are* broken down by cooking, but it's worth making clear that cooking doesn't reduce the danger.

What a fun topic! I have a totally unrelated pitch for you, in the category of of the videos you do about abandoned places.. and/or failed utopias. Lately I have been on a bit of a kick watching stuff about failed theme parks and other such attractions, so as you can imagine I have seen a few things about Euro Disneyland... something which it seems to me *anyone* who knows *any* French person at all should have clearly known would be a disaster. However, if you were to tell that rather amusing tale, it would give you a great opportunity to reprise your snobby-Parisean-realtor character for an encore performance! I imagine you could write a very funny scene about him being approached by Disney executives about acquiring the land for their abomination, and being torn and agonized by the conflict between his desire to make a HUGE commission, and every other fiber of his being crying out in disgust at the notion and the idea of his playing a role in the disnification of France. XD I know you don't like to do mean characters usually but in this case those same qualities in the character would be subverted and turned inward. Or towards a greater foe- alien vs predator style. I have listened to that bit 3 or 4 times and you still have me in stitches EVERY time I hear it. Thanks for another great video.
