Journey To Wellness October 24, 2013

On October 24, 2013 this video aired at the first annual CNS Journey to Wellness Fundraising Breakfast (To donate to the campaign "www.cnsmi.org/donate/#sthash.U..."), featuring the personal experiences of clients who CNS serves. The film depicts the many physical health challenges faced by people with severe mental health challenges and is consistent with national data reflecting much shorter life spans of adults with chronic mental illness. CNS, consistent with its "whole health" vision, aims to raise $50,000 to offer fitness, nutrition, chronic disease management and smoking cessation programs to several service sites in 2014.
