Dr.Warrier alcohol is very dangerous for kids my age(meaning the 17-21 year range)! I get the experimentation phase thing but still it makes them do crazy stuff with it! Do you think the idea of raising the drinking age to 25 and then also teaching them along the way about the effects of it is a good idea? It’s very hard for them to balance things like assignments, tests, and clubs already!

Dr Pal I was born and raised in the Philippines but have traveled the world immensely over the last 2 decades. My dad left our family when I was 9years old while our youngest was 8months old. My mom passed away at the age of 45. Til this day I cannot fathom how my brothers and I made it through life being orphans at the young age. I took advantage of my health by sleeping so little. I’ve always believed that life is short for me to sleep too much. I have only recently followed your channel and find great value in what you do and admire the humility you have. I can’t also believe how vibrant and young looking you are at your age. I hope and pray that you can reach more people and continue to provide amazing content. Kudos to you and your team! ❤

One of the BEST videos I Have ever come across in my life! A BIG THANKS to Dr. Pal for even taking this enlightening initiative to create a podcast with Dr.Warrier. I feel so much AT PEACE at hearing Dr. Warrier tell about the limbic system , ACC , and the prefontal cortex. It feels so comforting to know that habits are much easier to form when we know the basis of how they are formed in the first place. Because, before i had just thought habits , discipline, motivation , etc were inherent traits of an individual like the color of the eye , youre born with it and nothing you can do can change. But i realise and see that everyone has the power to form and continue habits. Being a doctor myself , there were moment where I wondered why I had come into this field because it didnt seem fulfillint. But hearing both of you talk, i have regained that spark, and i cant wait to learn and to help others the same way you both are. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks guys!! Delighted with the quality of content.

Pleasure listening to both these handsome and intelligent gentlemen. I used to binge drink every single day (i had severe mental health issues and trauma) for almost 10 years. I saw my journey from enjoying alcohol to how it turned me into a monster who fought with people unnecessarily, created drama, cried uncontrollably in the toilets of clubs and even worse things. I then developed gastroenteritis which is when i eventually stopped drinking. It was the best decision of my life. I have been off alcohol for almost 10 years now. As for Instagram.. I could totally relate to feeling depressed and anxious because of the constant scrolling. Ive now deleted the app and in a matter of 3 days i began feeling better. Thank you for this episode. That's an awesome podcast. When Sid speaks about the prefrontal cortex conflicting with the limbic cortex, I am reminded of another example from my own life: so, every time I had a desire to purchase something as a kid and asked my mother to buy it for me, she would always set a goal for me - like, score 80% + in mathematics, and I will buy it for you. Later in life, I never developed this bad habit of impulsive buying. My brain is trained not to waste money if that particular purchase is not necessary. This way one can also control mindless shopping, I think.

Just now completed watching and you know its an amazing show with more information and more fun. Dr.pal has good sense of humour and it takes time to watch this but i am listening to this from yesterday by doing my household chores but paying attention to make my prefrontal cortex work and the last half an hour is even more amazing. This is my first ever lengthy comment on any KZbin video. Thanks to both the Doctors Mr. Pal and Mr. Sid for your time

Such eye opening program Dr. Pal and Dr. Sid!!! Thank you so much.. Feeling proud for not watching single episode of big boss.. And haven't seen portion related alcohol... As I don't drink at all. As well as get really good solution for my scrolling habit... For my addiction to the phone!! Thank you so much ❤

True. Conversation style very good. People need to audit for themselves how they spend their time. People can use their time on YOGA, Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Chanting, Quality time with family & friends, learning new things, reading, and definitely cooking. For me much needed kick on my behind. Thank you.

Enjoyed listening to the podcast. Dr. Pal your podcasts are so casual and from the heart and it feels like we are ourselves part of the conversation because you seem to ask almost all the questions in our mind. Lots of takeaways. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Dr. Sid as well .
