Looking at Steve here I can't help but wonder how his dad could just walk away from him and his mother. He seems like such a nice man . I am so glad his mother encouraged her baby boy to keep on singing. I hate to say it but his dad seemed to be a terrible man. Leaving Steve must have broken his heart. Webster's Dictionary -- Steve Perry -- Definition -- Extremely talented pop singer who used to head up the San Francisco band Journey taking them to financial and success no one had ever dreamed. Then after around 10 years quit due to his mother's ill health and his own hip replacement. Did some successful solo work in 1994 and did not perform again until 20 years later in 2014. He has all the cash he needs and the voice to prove it but what does he have to prove? He stands on his own two legendary feet and no amount of public pressure or pleading is going to force him or change his mind. Bravo Steve!.
