Our house was bedford stone,we lived in southern ,in. St meinrad abbey was built from that

How we’re all of these works of art created by hand 150 years ago without power tools. Can you explain this? I’m impressed with these works of art all of our government buildings

These power tools merely accelerate what people used to do by hand. Hammering a chisel to chip off bits of stone until the parts that you want to make up the sculpture is all that remains.

They were able to make tools out of stone but they didn’t use stone for structural reasons native Americans weren’t that advanced to our knowledge. Natives were hunter gatherer’s with Stone Age capabilities but only used stone to hunt with not build.
