Berber history and culture is not being destroyed. unless you call swapping donkeys for cars too much change from tradition lol! i know even Berber who still wont buy washing machine they are so traditional about keeping to tradition. and i live out in the mountains and deserts with different Berber tribes...they need socks and warm clothes and encouragement to let their children go to school until they are older than 15 rather than 12 but what else about improving life and understanding do you call destruction of your culture?!!

Prakash Gautam ive been living in Morocco - i first went there with friends who are Arabs lviing in and grown up in cities. then for 10 years ive been living with Berber families in a number of areas. The Berbers dont need to learn anything from the Turks and dont need to learn any of your aggression nor aggressive ideas - there has been much growth and change with Berber languages now becoming used and accepted in more official capacities. The Berber women i know all speak Berber and many have never learned Arabic nor French. Noone has made them not speak in Berber. All the males im with speak Berber and many im with speak at least 3 Berber languages. We are free to travel and associate with who and where we like. So the restrictions that are being said are BS.. Those who say the BErber and their culture are being treated atrociously are listening to history of what happened in the past. Just like saying Colonel Custer is still out shooting Chief Sitting Bull and all the indians...Yes the Arab population tend to be wealther and have more freedom to have passports and live between other countries but much of that is because they were lucky in the early days of Moroccans working and living in France etc. Yes there is stil manyof Arab descent who dont travel much and dont have much to do with Berber culture but it still doesnt mean that the Berber are being killed or held back!!!

There has also been a skeleton found a while back in current Lybia which was dated 30 to 40.000 years old and his dna was E1b1b (Berber dna). Next time you say something stupid, let us reply back to you! Instead of closing the comment!!

The only ones outside of North Africa that have that dna in very small amounts are the Somalians! It's 100% North African dna otherwise East, West and South Africans would have had larger amounts than the North Africans! By the way, Ramses the great was also proven to have had the Berber dna. Middle Eastern people have never been black, Israelites came from the Middle East traveled to North Africa and beyond through Egypt, so they weren't black either. Imhoteb lived at the time of Joseph and Jacob aka Israel, Joseph worked with Imhoteb Egyptians are as Egyptian now as they used to be back then, the evidence is everywhere. Unless you are emotionally blinded and your eyes are filled with bullshit. Worst of all, the man that came claiming that Israelites and Egyptians were black, was a white man with an agenda and his bullshit was direct especially towards American niggas. As Amazigh i have to recognize that the only people our people benefited from are the muslims (arabs and ottomans) they themselves gave up certain of their evil customs for Islam, Islam is more important, the golden age of amazigh people was with islam we ruled over spain and part of France for centuries, but when christianism and peganism was brought to us we were at the darkest of time. There have been some fights between us and them initiated by us, but it was only involving fighting men on a battlefield following rules and regulations, they didn't enslave us like the christians and pegans did. Islam isn't the religion of arabs but of all mankind. And Allah made us tribes and nations so that we may get to know each others and not to seek supremacy over each other like the bible argue. This documentary isn't reliable it's over exagerating a lot, the first scene was reflecting not slavery under "the arabs" because there were none but under the christians, let's not forget that many people from morocco because they were too dark skinned were taken in america as literally slaves by the christians. There are only a few portion of amazigh without any cause or justification who hate arabs for some weird reason, i just think they are online trolls, and most of these online trolls are christians trying to add oil to the (non existent) fire. There is no hatred in islam we are all brothers. Without Al Islam we are nothing, stop seeking supremacy over each other preach Al Islam Al deen al Hak. I don't care even if i'm arab or amazigh i'm muslim all praise to the most high stop that nonsense nationalism that your enslavers the europeans has brought to you to literally kill you rape you colonize you and enslave you like the whole of Africa.

I have been for year a pro Amazigh culture in Morocco. Although I'm an Arab and have been raised in Morocco most of my life. I have learnt to speak some Amazigh words. Many of my closest friends are from Amazigh descendant. When we are together we are Moroccans not Amazigh or Arab. This video does not really tell the real truth. The people that are being interviewed lied at many occasions. The person that made this video is clearly not a good video maker. His french was very bad and his communication skills seemed to be limited. You cannot expose something that is considered as a problem and only speak to one side. You should know, better than I do, that as a journalist or a video maker, you are not supposed to take sides nor influence the answers of the people you are interviewing. With all the respect I owe Miriam, I think that she should be ashamed of herself for making Arabs look so bad. You cannot fight bad with worse. Unless of course your goal is not to expose a problem but to show off on camera for exposure. PS. reading your description of the video, not once you have used the term Amazigh. How can you agree with Miriam that claims that Berber is derived from the world Barbar, and only use Berber instead.

The Moroccan Arabs are NOTHING like other Arabs. Go or read about other Arab nations and you will know what I am talking about. Having said that, the truth is that Morocco is made up of 60% Amazighs and the Amazighs ARE the original natives of Morocco. They have forcibly been occupied by the invading Arabs, they live with that fact, they have even become good Mulims, but they are not ready to disappear. I guess it is normal that they demand a recognition of who and what they are? Why should that be a problem? That does not necessarily mean they want to separate from Morocco. After all, THEY are the original people. Where would they want to go? The Jews, who were in Morocco even before it was given the name, and were autochthones with the Amazighs, were never asked by the Amazighs to forget their Jewishness. I daresay that the Jews left Morocco but not because of the Imazighen. It is a historical fact that the Imazighen accepted Jews as equals. And THAT is something NO other nation has done. THAT makes them an extremely special people. To my mind, Moroccan Arabs and Imazighens should equally share beautiful Morocco. Azul, brothers.

I guess your goal is to sow the seed of division between the Arabs and the non Arabs in Morocco and North Africa in general. The Berbers were never slaves to the Arabs, as a matter of fact they fought alongside the Arabs and conquered Spain and Portugal. Tariq Ibn Ziad who was the leader of the expedition was a Berber leading Arabs and Berbers alike. When Arabs came, they brought Islam and Islam cancels all kind of ethnic differences. If you want to see cultural suppression, check the Canary Islands where Berbers speak Spanish and have no recollection of their language, tradition or customs.

All Moroccans, we are one in Ishmael, we are seed of our father Abraham, don't fall in this zionist jewish trick to urge between us this racial apartheid saying some of us are berbers and some are arabs. We are all morrocans, all of us have arab blood running in our veins. And above all we are Muslims! Moreover the Prophet told us that who speaks arab is an arab. This amazing language first spoken to Hazrat Ishmael. Allah made a covenant with us through Ishmael. The zionists wants you say that you don't have arab blood to keep you faraway from the covenant that Allah made with Abraham through ishmael. Because the berbers are not seed of Abraham, they are seed of Ham, who did not receive the blessing by Noah and became a slave to the descendants of Shem (Jews and Arabs) and Yaphet (European, including Ashkenazi Jews). So be proud to be arab or have a percentual of arab blood in your veins! The curious thing is that this same european zionist jews, they are not even semites. The original israelites resembled their brothers, the arabs. But what we see nowadays is faraway from this. Jews are only an ethnic and religious group, not a racial group. Ethnicity is the term used to designate the cultural characteristics that bind a particular group of people or groups regardless of nationality, racial group or color. We have all respect for the jews as a religious group, but when some of them say they are a racial group choosen by Allah to inherit the Holy Land and promote a cowardly genocide to the palestinians, we will never accept and show the world the truth. Here is the truth: 90% or more of all 16 million world wide jewish population are ashkenazi jews, in other words, they are an european racial group whose ancestors converted to judaism in the 8th century AD and over the centuries have been absorbing and recreating all the traditions of the original israelites (described in the Old Testment). They don't have any connection with Middle East, they are a non semitic people and they are not seed of Abraham. This historical fact can be read in the books: "The Invection of the Jewish People" by the author Shlomo Sand and "The 13th Tribe" by author Arthur Koestler, both authors being Jewish themselves. But the bombshell came through science when the renowned Israeli-American geneticist Eran Elhaik (from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, in Baltimore, United States) published in 2013, in the British journal Genome Biology and Evolution, the result of his research regarding the origin of Ashkenazi Jews. The study compared the genomes (which form the genetic heritage) of 1,287 unrelated individuals descended from eight Jewish population groups and 74 from non-Jews. Elhaik analyzed these data, looking for mutations in the DNA code linked to the geographic origin of a group. Among the Jews of Europe, the geneticist found ancestral signatures that clearly point to the Caucasus and a insignificant percentual of 3% that links them with the Eastern Mediterranean. This amount of 3% in the genetic field is completely irrelevant and similar to what modern Europeans as a whole share with Neanderthals. The team of researchers led by Dr. Eran Elhaik in the University of Sheffield, UK, used an revolucionary admixture based tool for biogeographical analyses called Geographic Population Structure (GPS), which converts DNA data into ancestral coordinates. According to Eran Elhaik, these results confirmed the historical fact that the ashkenazi jews are originally a European ethnic group belonging to the region of ancient Khazaria, in the Caucasus, region of Central Europe. Eastern European Jews descended from the Khazars, a mixture of Turkic clans and Slavic, Greek and Iranian population who settled in the Caucasus in the first centuries of our era and converted to Judaism in the eighth century. The study served to put an end to a debate that had lasted for two centuries and shook the foundations that supported Zionism, with regard to the illegal occupation of Palestine. For as is known, according to the Jews, the Promised Land (Palestine and surroundings) was given to Abraham and all his descendants. But the Jews exclude the Arabs from this promise, arguing that Isaac was chosen by Allah instead Ishmael. But there is no place in the Bible that states that Palestine is a jewish land. If they claim this insignificant percentual 3% (a drop of blood in an ocean) make them jews, then we have much more right over them. The Khazar jews and the Muslims from Eastern Europe and Russia are the same racial group but the main point and difference between these two is that the European Jews say they are originally from Palestine, claiming that they are descendants of the original indigenous people, and in the other hand the muslim of Chechnya do not make such claim, saying they are descendants of the Ishmaelites (sons of Ishmael). Palestinians are Arabs, are semitic people, descendants of Ishmael, son of Abraham. So they are not there by chance. Do not confuse with the Philistines of the Bible, because the Philistines were Greeks, that is, they were not semites and were completely expelled from there. The region started to be called Palestine because of the Philistines and all the Semitic tribes (of Arabs and Jews) that inhabited that place, started to be called Palestinians. Over time, the original Jews, descendants of the tribes of Israel, adopted the Arabic language, which became the lingua franca of Palestine, in addition to having Islam as a religion and together with their Arab brothers, they form today what is called the "palestinian people", but in fact the term Palestinian is a toponym. The european zionist jews, who inhabit the so-called State of Israel today, are massacring the true descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel, which are together with their arab brothers, the so-called Palestinian people. As mentioned above, some of them have an insignificant percentual of 3% that link them to the Middle East, but in genetics this amount is completely irrelevant and can be compared to the percentual that the europeans share with the Neanderthals. But the jews say they are fleshy and spiritual descendants of Abraham through Isaac, to claim heritage to the Holy Land, in other words Palestine. Almost all the arabs nowadays and muslim are fleshy descendants of Ishmael and according to the Torah law, Ishmael and his offspring have right to double portion of the covenant that Allah made with Abraham regarding to Palestine. So the muslim should claim this right. The percentual of arab blood in the maghrebi arabs, middle eastern arabs, pakistani, afghanistani and so on, is much more big than this 3% of the ashkenazi jews. For exemple, the iberian muslims (Portugal and Spain) have a minimun of 10% of arab blood. Islam is for all mankind, regardless racial group, color or social status. Our Ummah is one! But if you hear a zionist jew saying they are there since ancient times, before the Palestinian people, know that they are lying. The Promised Land The evividence: Instead of this it is said that the Promised Land is a covenant that The Lord made with Abraham to his children, with the firstborn Ishmael (father of the ishmaelites, arabs), with the second Isaac (grandfather of the israelites, jews) and with the others Abraham's children. " 'The LORD appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.' (Genesis 12:7)." " 'On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.' (Genesis 15:18)." According the law, in Deuteronomy 21:15, Ishmael should receive double portion of the inheritance of the promise from the covenant that The Lord made with Abraham. " 'If a man has two women, one of them loved and the other unloved, and if both the loved and the unloved have borne him sons, the firstborn being the son of the one who is unloved, 21:16 then on the day when he wills his possessions to his sons, he is not permitted to treat the son of the loved as the firstborn in preference to the son of the unloved, who is the firstborn. 21:17 He must acknowledge as firstborn the son of the one who is unloved, giving him a double portion of all that he has; since he is the first issue of his virility, the right of the firstborn is his.' (Deuteronomy 21:15-17)." This law was designed to protect the rights of the firstborn son Ishmael even if his mother Hagar was not the favored wife, according the Torah. Ishmael is the father of the original ishmaelite arabs, he is the ancestor and father of all arab tribes existing nowadays, he is father of all decendants of the arabs living around the world, he is one of the main Prophets of Islam, father of all muslims, in flesh and spiritually, for semitic muslims and non semitic muslims, like the non semitic european muslims and all people that reverted to Islam since ancient times. He is father of all arab-muslims in Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Indonesia, Afghanistan.... Isaac is the grandfather of the original israelites jews, he is the ancestor and father of all israelite comunities existing nowadays, he is the father of all decendants of the israelites living around the world, he is one of the three patriarchs of the israelites, father of all jews, in flesh and spiritually, for semitic and non semitic jews, like the non semitic ashkenazi (european) jews, and all people that converted to judaism since ancient . Palestine or so called Israel should be given double portion for the palestinian arabs the offspring of Ishmael and preserved as an World Heritage for all mankind, for the muslims, christians and jews. Islam is the only religion that has spread offering peace with other peoples.

The amazigh (berbers) were in north africa for thousands of years. Even people oppresed in one area can be oppresive in another. Jews in Israel some of whom oppress arabs and yet arabs oppress amazigh (true name for berbers) also there are tribes in sub saharan africa that oppress each other ie coastal tribes fulani vs. interior tribes. I hope people cut it out before we get into the war to end it all and then, hopefully a new version of us without the bad part will come around.

why does this women think Amazigh people are going to dissappear like the Native Americans when they aren't subject to large scale genocide and subjugation?
@TheENERDchi8 жыл бұрын
John Smith actually, Native Americans are quite PROUD, and are not ashamed of their race. Their genocide was WAY more atrocious than what is going on with the Amazigh.
@TheENERDchi8 жыл бұрын
John Smith DO NOT TRIVIALIZE THE NATIVE AMERICAN GENOCIDE. And bro, Filipinos are not Native American.....they're not even a part of the USA. And Filipino men and women STILL have strong unions. I have also met quite a handful of Native Americans, choosing to marry outside of your race is not self-hate. And there are quite a lot of Native Americans that are proud, kid. They lost their culture, but that won't matter much, because Hispanics are 40-60% Native American and will be the majority here soon. Only a few of then recognize this, but they will know soon enough.
@gabe39078 жыл бұрын
Calling it the way it is is not trivialization. I never said Filipinos are Native Americans. I said they're self-hating, and post-colonial. Filipino men/women have "strong" unions because there's no non-Filipino men/women in the Philippines. If you look at Filipinos in the USA, they outmarry constantly, because they hate themselves. *I never said that outmarrying is self hate. I said self-hate drives outmarrying, which is logical, since outmarrying destroys the nations.* If you are taught that you are ugly/inferior, and everything about your race is ugly/inferior, wouldn't it be beneficial to marry outside your race? Yes. It would. You're losing this argument, so you resort to calling people "kid." Hilarious. Hispanics are self-hating as fuck. White is right in Hispanic culture. We know it now, and we've known it forever. Hispanics outmarry constantly since nationalism amongst them is increasingly weak. If every Hispanic outmarries in America, you end up with the USA becoming something like 1/10th Hispanic. When you take into account that Hispanics are already part white, and Europeanized as a whole, natives are destroyed regardless. There's too many blacks in the world, too many whites in the world, and too many Asians in the world for American natives to survive with outmarrying being an acceptable practice. The fate of Berbers will be the same, since there's too many Arabs, Europeans, and Africans for them to survive while outmarrying.
@TheENERDchi8 жыл бұрын
John Smith I've seen MANY Filipino men and women marry each other, you're generalizing on some bullshit, KID. There are also A SHIT TON of "brown pride" people around today, that marry into their own race. And a lot of them are becoming aware that they are Native American, and even that Native Americans originally came here from Asia. They're going to be the majority here in The States soon......so don't know what to tell ya; I don't know where you're getting your facts from....some more bullshit generalizations, I assume.

Moroccan government should give more honor and respect to this land's original inhabitants the Amazigh. They should at least make the government an arab-amazigh one, if not a fully Amazigh one. They have began giving some rights to Amazigh to learn their language at school but still have to do so much more to them, and it is necessary to demand their rights back after they have been stripped away by oppressive Arab colonists and settlers, who by the way call themselves "Muslims"! @guerriermarocain70586 жыл бұрын
@@awsomeclipsnow No. The Amazigh people are the ones that have the fair skin and light eyes originaly and that has nothing to do with Arabs infact the Arabs that came to Morocco were the Banu Hilal, a Yemeni tribe that was dark of skin color like the original Arab. the Arab you think of is most of the time a syrian or iranian. they are more likely to have a light skin. it is more likely that the Arabs made the North Africans darker. The term Hamites is not even scientific. Eastern Hamites share more genetic history with Arabs(Yemenis) than with Western Hamites with is more logical as i.e. Somalia is closer to Yemen than it is to Morocco. The only reason that Berbers and Somalian people were called both called Hamites is because Berber and East African languages share the Afro- Asiatic branch and Germans in the 1800s saw Tuaregs, who look a lot like East Africans hence they called them the same.Tuaregs are Berber but genetically not the same as other Berbers, this is because Berbers in general are not ethnicly the same but rather cultural.
