I was in France for the first time in June and I met Jane and Tony at a street fair. They were the sweetest people. I told Jane how much I enjoyed her vlogs. What incredible hearts they have to help with the roof. I have to admit I held my breath a couple of times when Tony was on that roof. He is amazing!! Oh my, that roof! How fortunate you are to live in such a helpful community! So clever to use the tractor bucket as scaffold for the laddders. I'm glad you were able to close that hole before winds came, and that you had tiles on hand. Did I see a basketball hoop on the wall by the workshop? Fun to think of shooting hoops at the chateau. People who take the chateau challenge risk a lot but they are interesting and creative people. Hi Carol. We are really lucky, you are absolutely right. We try to find out how to incorporate the find under the wallpaper into the room. I have a tendency to laugh and see the humor in situations. Once I fell in our frozen yard. Whiplash and 3 broken ribs but I saved the cigarette and my mug…….. Had to laugh at that. We quit smoking years ago though. Hugs 🥰😘🥰

Wow! Like a genie in a bottle, 3 genies appeared to mend the roof! Fantastic! I've watched Jane and Tony's vlog for about 2 years and yes, Tony is a wizard! What a joy they were able to lend a hand and fix this bothersome and untimely roof disaster! Bless them!!! Frauka is an angel indeed and what a joy to be able to spend time with an endearing aunt! Well done, Angel Frauka! Your tomato sauce looks divine! It will come in VERY handy this winter when then temps drop and you just want a cosy meal of pasta! I've been able to make pickles and salsa this summer and have crabapples and peaches to can next week! I lost out on the chokecherries this season.....they ripened early and the birds, deer, and bears had a feast! Luckily, I still have some of my chokecherry liquor left over from last year!!!! We live in a small community and find that care for one another’s friends and neighbors here, however we are a family of 6 generations in this small farming community. Hi there. It was indeed amazing. We were lucky all around! We are finally getting the farmhouse ready. However, after Christmas, we are planning on gutting the bathroom. we did what we could and it took, as always, longer then anticipated withe the summer flue and then the roof collapse..
