Jesus /Yeshua /Hesus or whatever you want to call His name are just a Chosen name given to the Word (logos) that became Flesh and dwelt among us. This is why Jesus said very truly I tell you, surely you would die in your sins if you don't believe that I Am He (John 8:24).

It is not a translation but rather a cognate or transliteration if written. A translation means to replicate the meaning in another language. Rendering it intelligible in the language it has been translated in to. So what does, jesus, Isa or Isho mean ? A cognate ( a word that has the same origin as another word) is to make a pronounciation with the original language as near as possible but it might not be the same because of your native tongue. As an example xhosa and zulu languages have clicking sounds which very few people can pronounce unless they spoke the language from birth. How we say Xhosa is not how native speakers say it. And a transliteration is an attempt at transcribing to make the same sound and pronounciation using a different alphabet. It is not certain what language he used but Jesus, or Isa could not be it because neither of them have any meaning in english or arabic respectively. Jesus was no doubt a Jew so his name on a balance of probabilities was probably in the Hebrew form, even if they spoke Aramaic. The muslims do the same thing with many prophets name Abraham is an example. Ibrahim is not a translation of father of multitudes it is just a cognate. Same thing with المسيح used in the quran it has no meaning, it is a borrowed word. And yes muslims do call mohammed by other names Mahmudu, mehmet, mahomet.
