But me being a British Bangladeshi living in London, it’s nice to see my ethnicity represented, considering when people refer to the south Asian culture they always refer to India and Pakistan, and Bangladesh is mostly ignored. So, even though I do agree with you to a degree, it’s nice to see someone with the same background as me on the telly.

Wait a MF minute! I heard this chick and her voice blew my mind, so I decided to go her page. I listen to her older stuff and her voice was slightly different. I think because she's in her lower register more, which gives her voice this strong character just like Amy Winehouse. But that's where the similarities stop because she has her own distinct style. She sounds more like Billie Holiday to me. They both sound like old souls that where trapped in these tiny little packages. For the luv of God, let us not sleep on or mistreat this gem!!!!!!!! Every now and then the World is blessed to have one of the Greats share their gifts with us.....SHE is one of them!!!!!!

I came here thanks to taehyung since his musical taste is always on point. Its such an amazing and chill song, and it makes me remember the time my parents would sit at our varanda to drink beer and chat about things every single friday night. They'd listen to lots of music, but my father has always been a huge fan of amy winehouse, so he'd listen to her songs for hours... Its such a dear memory to me. The video is also so gorgeous, and her facial expressions are so beautiful (so is her).

I really love this! Very true to herself (or so it seems, of course we don’t know what it’s like behind the scenes). I went to the comment section, hoping for lyrics, but saw all of the BTS fans and started to get annoyed. Then I stopped myself. Why should I - or anyone - get annoyed by people discovering new music? I stumbled upon her by total accident just now, by exploring indie KZbin artists.
