About 7 years ago I found this KZbin video thinking it was the actual music video for Disorder. I saw in the comments people mention 2001 a space odyssey and can I just say it changed my life. Very thoughtful association indeed; something makes those two works have an oddly great harmony. I do remember a music expert saying in a documentary about Joy Division ("Joy Division", 2007, by Grant Gee) that Unknown Pleasures was like a SCIENCE-FICTION trip through post-industrial Manchester (I don't remember his exact words). Another thing I notice that might be an answer is how genuinely timeless both works feel, while they're pretty old by now...I guess this is art.
