Guess your dreams always end. They don't rise up just descend, But I don't care anymore, I've lost the will to want more, I'm not afraid not at all, I watch them all as they fall, But I remember when we were young. Those with habits of waste, Their sense of style and good taste, Of making sure you were right, Hey don't you know you were right? I'm not afraid anymore, I keep my eyes on the door, But I remember... Tears of sadness for you, More upheaval for you, Reflects a moment in time, A special moment in time, Yeah we wasted our time, We didn't really have time, But we remember when we were young. And all God's angels beware, And all you judges beware, Sons of chance, take good care, For all the people not there, I'm not afraid anymore, I'm not afraid anymore, I'm not afraid anymore, Oh, I'm not afraid anymore.

I like to believe that Ian Curtis was a poet. I believe it can be reductive to reduce such a powerful song as this to the everyday circumstances of what we know now only with hindsight. There wasn't anything obvious . The line 'im not afraid anymore! ' is bellowed out with force and conviction. It's a statement of defiance. As the song says 'and encapsulates perfectly in the line 'a moment in time . This is the song of a man doing what he loves despite the odds , physical, emotional , passionate love with its deep bonds , shared history, loyalty are tested to the limit when out of nowhere love , or the end of love destroys as well as creates

there's such a difference between different album, studio (ie this) and live versions of Joy Division songs... I Remember Nothing or The Eternal are best in their album versions with Hannet's production, but this track is way better live in-studio than on the album. It's too bad they didn't record more tracks like this, a Peel Sessions version of Shadowplay or Atrocity Exhibition would likely be amazing.

Joy Division is the best post-punk band of all time! There is only one band that can compare or be better than JD and that is Siouxie And The Banshees. of the rest none. Joy Division has influenced New Wave, Gothic Rock and thousands of famous bands and artists from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Joy Division's music was innovative for its time and not to mention their lyrics that touch your heart. soul and make you feel the suffering that Ian Curtis had

*What would the definition of evil be according to Darwin or medical science?* Evil would be the process of adaptation by which one has achieved or is attempting to achieve a greater immunity than the core of humanity. To understand this think of the slow and benign animals that Darwin discovered on Galapagos. Evil would be, in fact, Darwin disturbing the slow animals.
