I was born with congenital cataracts too, I had surgery when I was 3 (in both eyes) and had many since, but right now my vision is pretty good even though I have to wear glasses

I am 26 and i still have mine (i only have 1) we didnt know i had it till i was 9. Only reason we found it was because my eye is sensitive to light and i would squint alot, still do.

Well yeah. I have congenital cataracts. My first ever surgery will be in 1 week. And I'm basically going blind. If I were not to treat it, that's the outcome. A person can live with blindness but ya vision does help in the day to day. 😅
