A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ teaching. A less devout Christian is straying away from Jesus Christ and slowly eaten by earthly desires and ultimately rejecting Jesus a plan of the Devil. Its just saying "Im an atheist and I celebrate Christmas" and "Im celebrating Christmas but I wont recognize it to honor the birth of Jesus Christ I dont believe about the guy I only believe Santa Claus only as true guy of Christmas". This song brings back many fond memories from my childhood, when I was a kid, and the choir group at the school I studied in (up till the tenth grade) always sang this song first on Christmas Eve. The original 1719 Isaac Watts text says “let heaven and nature sing” as the minister had based it on Psalm 98 and a bit on Genesis 3. The LDS Church use an official version that says “And Saints and angels sing”; the popularity of Mormon Tabernacle Choir music is likely why the “angels” wording is commonly thought to be original.
