Joy I love your red britches. Linen is my favorite fabric, like the blue Philly. Well Joy, it only takes you an hour to put one of those blouses together. We have a SurlaTab here in Walnut Creek, Ca. Home made pizza is great. Using your system seems like just a bunch of work? Yep doctor table paper is just wonderful been using it for years-free. Philly, are you pre-washing your linen? Paper crafting does not have much good cool stuff to sew with. Nobody every buys anything unless it is half price or less, that is what I think. Thats no fair because I know I won't get a card or sticker and I didn't get to see them. Philly, the best knife for everything is "shintaku knife-fabulous". Nice container find.

It is a lot of work for sure if you have a difficult shape to fit. That is why so many people don't make pants or wear them. Not for everyone. But once you get the pattern perfected, you can make a hundred pair. I've made four pair in one week.

You just take a tuck starting at the crotch curve and going all the way to the side seam. You start at 1/2" or whatever you need and go out to zero at the side seam. Think of a tiny slice of pizza. Phylly cut that out of her pattern ease so I could not show it. I leave it in. I make a slice with a cutter from the crotch seam area over to the side seam, but don't cut all the way through the side seam. You need a hinge there. Then cross over the amount you need at the crotch side and smooth it out to the side seam.
