I was never able to wear Profondo because I'm allergic to the musk in it, so I was excited when the EDP came out (and didn't contain musk) since I heard it was a very similar scent. Personally, EDP performs GREAT on my skin. Very long lasting. Profondo disappeared quickly during the brief time I tried it. The EDP also has a sharper, more citrus smell that stands out to me. So, I personally like the EDP better, and I'm glad, because I can't wear Profondo anyway. My only real complaint is that I like the Profondo bottle much better.

Interesting.. How did u you discovered that you are allergic to musk? Plus what are the other notes/ ingredients which we should consider in fragrance which might be cause of allergy trigger ? ( Like headache, heavy feeling, suffocation etc.. )

Same, Profondo is great but it causes me dizziness and headaches. It's a shame because it smells so nice. Not sure whether it's the musk note or another synthetic/combo of synthetics. But it's a guaranteed headache.

Imo it is not a great performer but I still enjoy it so I spray a little more on me. I bought another bottle because I really like it. I still think essenza and Profumo are better but this new ADG is not a bad one.

Tried both profondo and EDP..thank God they don't feel eggy as essenza .. my essenza is just laying around just coz that eggy feel n all 3 frags didn't last in Mumbai weather ..all come close to skin within 1hr .. only thing that last here is profumo..n sadly it's discontinued.. m keeping essenza just coz it's discontinued

I get that funky, skunky note in the opening. Once that goes away in the dry down, the EDP is a very good fragrance.

I think Azzaro Extreme is more synthetic. Its a very strong fragrance but not as light and reminds me of Dylan Blue in terns of that flat but strong synthetic vibe

It’s really hard to decide a ‘jack of all traits. Personally I think Creed Aventus Cologne can be the one. I would love to say the original Aventus but I don’t like that anymore after all those reformations and so many batches.
