My leaving Kenya was hectic too. For some reason the Kenyan side made it as difficult as possible. At some point our luggage was taken off the flight and we ended up in Nyayo house. Funny story really, but luckily, we got the all clear and the following day and flew out. 25 years later we are still here with grown up children living in various countries in Europe.
