The Holy Spirit told me some years ago to stop pretending that I don’t desire some certain things because I’m afraid it may lead me away from God. He said, come to me with all of your desires for behold I’m the Lord your God who teaches you what is best for you and show you the way to go. Isaiah 48:17. THE RESULT: I have received ‘some’ of my desires and some others I have come to realise from the leading of the spirit that they are not best for me, so I no longer desire them. I don’t have to pretend to not desire it. The final batch of desires, I’m not experienced enough to receive them as a result of timing and my commitment to past the test. In conclusion, your desire will not lead you from Christ if you are aiming to achieve them through the leading of the spirit. Thank God for this sermon, it’s a confirmation of what the Spirit has been saying to me.

What a wonderful message! I have been going through some really rough stuff for about 10 years now. I have lost everything. I have an aunt and a cat. Grateful to have them. But I dream of drinking coffee in the morning at my own kitchen table. Joyce gives me hope that someday things might really get better. Sure she loves money, who doesn't?
