Positive thinking is so important. I struggle to find a balance. Guarding the heart, and keeping watch over sinful thoughts is especially difficult for me. I find these angry and judgemental thoughts the hardest to fight against. "for who ever is angry with his brother without cause, has committed murder in his heart" & "and do not judge" Being humble is the most positive thought form, and the hardest to acquire.

I love Joyce because she is herself! You know the things Joyce has been through I've seen so much less break a person that she's kind of an enigma to me I look at her and think what fortitude to not only survive that forgive that but love back and give back to those that hurt you the most is amazing. I've had way less done to me and I'm grappling with forgiveness or rather unforgiveness and how to get to forgiveness. Unforgiveness is the thief of all good things it's contraction and our hearts and it destroys all the good that could be she had all the ingredients to execute that in her life and she didn't choose to employ those emotions are decisions that is what makes her an outstanding evangelist

Its 2021 though... why is humanity not outgrowing ancient belief-systems that have virtually and literally no value in modern times, where science is available? We dont have to say 'a wizard did it!' or 'god did it' anymore: We KNOW STUFF NOW. Thats the big difference. The writers of the bibles did not know stuff, so they made stuff up, assumed-around, had some fun guessing so wildly that its truly wild... but now? Now humans know stuff. Even IF one is not extreme about total nonsense like flat-earth and evolution-denial, we are still in for a wild ride of Guesses that are literally worthless. Guessing around what may be the 'Element of Fire' will never fuel a real Rocket. Just look at what the directest product of Science is: Technology. I think its fair to say that technology is literally the directest thing that science brings and that also shows just how solid and valueble science is. Religion meanwhile is debunked by kinda everything and anything. Atheist-KZbinr point out all the time stuff about religion or the bible or the specific religions or non-specific religions, including the fact that all Observations of Nature debunk the bible AND the BIBLE debunks the Bible! That last one is truly a Feat, if i may say so. So i come back to my original question: Isnt it 2021 now???

Sometimes when I get down there's this resistance to be picked back up. I know the right thoughts I should be having but I am adamant about staying in my sad pathetic mood.
