For me finding the balance of what and how I wanted to move my body after recovery was and still is the hardest part of recovery. I had a huge exercise compulsion component of my ED and finding a way to introduce activity again took me many many months of recovery leading up to where I am now.
If you have any questions please let me know. I hope you are finding some peace 🤍

Probably a lot of people have asked this but have you ever considered doing a podcast? I think it'd be great 😍

I can’t joyfully exercise in the gym and I finally realized that. My favorite exercises are swimming, yoga in my backyard, long walks, riding my bike, and attempting kpop dances in my room😂 Whenever I’m at the gym I get soooooo bored and feel like I need music or a tv show to entertain myself instead of just the workout entertaining me

I’m so proud of you Liz 🤍. I love how open and honest you’re being with us! Such great tips too! I was kind of in a addiction with calories last year. I wore an Apple Watch and if I didn’t reach the amount of calories in a certain workout, I would be so hard on myself and I wouldn’t even enjoy the workout. Now I ditched the Apple Watch and I just focus on the workout and how it makes me feel. I work out intuitively now and it feels great!

You’re videos are inspiring, truthful, and realistic. You’re right about the weight loss thing and how toxic it can be sometimes. I used to think that was right but now I don’t anymore and I just do what’s best for me not what wants me to do and just do it for stress & anxiety relief and enjoyment.

Love this video! This actually made me excited to go and do a workout, simply because I enjoy it- not because I NEED to lose weight or gain muscle. Proud of your journey Liz 💗

The TV in the gym shocked me a little. But that's the reality of our life's, sadly - the fixation on weight-loss is everywhere and it's really Hard to get rid of these toxic reminders sometimes.

I’ve started playing ring fit and I love it! It makes moving your body into a game, and you can do it however long you want and it adjusts to your strength etc. challenging but not too much! Ok pls pay me Nintendo lol

I'm sorry, but this is just toxic. Exercise isn't supposed to be fun. It's supposed to be challenging.

Oh Liz, please stop complaining that you woke up stiff the day after the flight. You are 28 years old and think you woke up stiff. What about someone who is double your age: 56 ?! How about a person who is 76 ? You have to keep your perspective balanced. 🍀💜

Don't think she was complaining, her body just needed movement to make up for the stillness the day before

Lol nobody said older people don't feel stiff too. And age isn't the only factor, there are plenty of other things that could cause stiffness 😂
