"There you have it. There you fucking have it." I'm sorry, but after watching this vacuous nonsense that you call a reaction, I have to say that you never had it. At no point did you make any sort of astute observation. Above all else, you went in with a bias that was confirmed; whereas most people went in with a bias that they questioned afterwards, because they understood the debate and it opened them up to both sides of it. There you have it.
@That3DPrintLife6 жыл бұрын
Zack Browbear - oh my goodness, you could not be more correct. Very well said. Going into "tough" scenarios with an open mind, not allowing your bias to take over is paramount. The reaction in this video highlights the incredible hypocrisy. That is precisely what makes the original video so brilliant. It brings out the true feelings of people and makes some people question why they felt the way that they did.
@ashlovesblush136 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I feel like she took nothing away from the video. The video wasn’t made so that your biases could be confirmed...it was made for you to take a step back and look at both sides. This reaction was awful.

She got the message most are just too blind to see it. The point of this song is to understand both sides to precieve an acurate understanding of the other. The white man is white america and this is how the percieve us as AA. The black man is showing how we perceive them perceiving us. May the father of understanding guide us.

steohen s. exactly, todays society doesn't even want to hear the white guys side.. their is a reason why whites act the why they do, an it isn't just because of racism..... both the white guy an black guy make valid point, but everyone pardon how I word this, chicken shit to bring this to light.. if both sides don't address the flawless of both side, nothing will ever change.. sense I have come to America, I have notice that white are told they cant speak... that kind of mind set leads to hate, leads to racism... both sides, matter of fact everyone should be able to call peoples shit out an should have away to try to come to an understanding..
@hum4303 жыл бұрын
I wasn't too sure about commenting on this but in my opinion both people were explaining extreme viewpoints which some people may call racist. However the video was designed with a view of finding an understanding even where people disagreed with each other. Showing a way to move forward and learning to accept each other. Sadly something lacking at the moment. You appeared nieve for the most part but at least showed some understanding at the end. If we cannot have the difficult conversations we cannot resolve them and history ends up repeating itself. I hope you can broaden your own understanding or at least be more tolerant of other people because they see things differently. Any person of any race can be racist but as a quote from a program I watched said "If you look for it you will find racism anywhere.

First of all Joyner Lucas is a black rapper and a DAMN good one also. The question I have a ask would you have responded to this video in the same way if it was two black people in this video. Not all white people act like that, But i am very glad this video was done and there should be more done like it.. It doesn't matter if you are white,black, brown, yellow we are all people and we should treat them all the same
@nagasamuraigoichi48606 жыл бұрын
And by the way I applaud your bravery. You identify with being black more it seems. The reason I'm applauding you because there are struggles that our so-called biracial mixed or as you coined and quoted Ambiguously racial.... I have noticed that there is a whole different set of problems that you all go through that I actually quite unique and it times worse than us so call black people

Only thing she missed to say was "omg I'm literally shaking". She missed the whole point of the video trying to be dramatic and sjw. Unless this was an acting casting then meh and nevermind...
@taywilburn14476 жыл бұрын
For all of you suggesting that this reaction is bad: I suggest you watch the artist himself breakdown the lyrics on the Genius music channel. He was using negative words and stereotypes with the white man b/c those are ignorant comment aimed at black people. But when he turned to the black guy to hear his side that shows actual discourse. To have a conversation about this issues both sides must be heard....that's the message.
@skylerregan656 жыл бұрын
I can see that you are a very intellectual person and I really enjoyed watching your reaction and getting different perspectives of the situation. One thing I gotta point out though is just like with the black male in the video, the white male wasn’t speaking for Caucasian’s as a whole, but the stereotypical side. Am I saying that this is how whites people as a whole act? Of course not, but just like the black male in the video there are caucasians that are like this. If you can’t see what’s wrong with both sides in this video, as well as good, then I would really say you missed the whole point. It’s about coming to an understanding and realizing that yes there are some people that really think like both of these sides, and that should be addressed. All I want in this world is peace, and I feel like Joyner Lucas is pushing us back into the right direction with this video. Letting everything out and showing the true colors of both sides. Have a great day, ma’am

Everybody knew when someone says "I'm not racist", they actually are. People don't see that what they did is racist. Listen to the song again. Who said "I'm not racist"? Both the white verse and the black verse have it. Thats the point of the video. Most of us can't see how we are being racist. Thats why we have to listen to all sides and agree to disagree.

Completely missed it, and based on your bias/reaction it's obvious YOU needed to hear/understand this video more than most. This was written by a bi-racial man to bring to light things people are afraid to talk about. Hopefully someone has explained to you by now that it's only Joyner's voice you're hearing the entire time. That white guy is just an actor mouthing the words. Same goes for the black guy. Both were very convincing and without being familiar with Joyner I can understand the confusion. And I know a lot of these lyrics hurt and obviously I'll never be able to understand or feel that hurt. Can only try to empathize. But mannnnn if you didn't miss the point of all of it. I feel sorry for you. Will pray for you and yours.

I noticed in your reaction that you could not counter the white man's points about the fact that you were never a slave yourself. You just called him a racist because he made a factual statement.
