I feel the Nux most smoother, you know a vintage Reissue. Its on the way to home 😊

I prefer the slightly darker, earthier tone of the JOYO, which would imo be better used in parts of metal & grunge songs, while the airier & (if you dial it up) stonger tones of the NUX would be better for ambient and experimental music. (Excellent comparison video btw. Thank you!)

I prefer the sound of JOYO even though I don't really enjoy this brand. I had big issues with the modulation and the reverb from the new R series, but the one in the video is pretty cool.

I'm late to the game, but thanks for this video of the 2! I can see how both pedals offer and provide different tones and atmosphere depending on what you're after. I'm leaning towards Joyo myself to purchase, but also kinda curious about the Nux one too. Plus it's purple! haha

The Nux one is a reissue of the yellow one? Was my first "real" chorus, only had ones on multi FX pedals. I still like it but something was missing, dunno what...Bought an affordable ENO Gemini pedal lately, really like that sound. Don't know if it is the additional tone knob or the chorus sound in general: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHy4gqqdgquAg6s
