Joyo JF-07 Classic Flanger Demo

HD demo of the JOYO JF-07 Classic Flanger.
A demo of the budget flange pedal by Joyo. This has to be one of the best modulation pedals I've played for less than $100 (it only retails in the US for about $30). Thick and rich and very tweakable. They really hit a home run here.

Very nice demo! The pedal sounds great. Although I missed a high gain setting with a more pulsating flanger effect. I wished Joyo made their phaser pedal also in this size with more knobs, would be really awesome.

Basically I just want a flanger for those notes in Van Halen Unchained ! There's no way I'm paying $200 for the MXR... Can i get a similar sound (or close one) with the Joyo ? So far I'm very surprised with the sound quality of the Vintage Overdrive and the Voodo Octave

hey Erik I recently got the joyo tremolo and i love it i only have one concern when my volume is down on my guitar i can hear the tremolo still oscillating if u will its not notable unless your kinda near the amp so my question is does this flanger do the same and leave a faint sound in the background??

I never noticed anything, but in general even with the guitar volume off, almost any pedal that is turned on in your chain with the amp still on is going to pick up signal running through your cables and other pedals and amplify it. And since phases, choruses, flanges, trems, etc, all oscillate; you'll often hear a faint sound of it's specific character still coming through. Pretty much par for the course, especially if you have gain pedals turned on in the chain at the same time. But yeah, can't say I noticed anything unusual.

Thanks! It's not whisper quiet(what pedal is?), but there wasn't any noticeable noise added. As for changing the tone, I've definitely played some modulation pedals where there's a big EQ difference between the bypassed and engaged sound, this one though seemed to keep the original signal pretty much unaltered. It just basically added it's own sound/effect to the signal path.

thebetterdad The FAB Flange is actually probably quieter. The Joyo seemed to have more noise, but at the same time a lot of that had to do with the Joyo's more exaggerated sweep, depth, regeneration, etc.... The actual flange sounds were more extreme with the Joyo, so it just comes with the territory. The FAB Flange on the other hand is so subtle that at it's lower setting you almost couldn't tell it was on.

i am building a great pedal board as i have many many pedals. I need to more to really cover all my basis.I need a eq and a flanger, i heard the fab flanger was not very good and i like the boss but i rather buy it used then pay the full new price. I seam to not be able to find one. Anyways how is this as far as will it fall apart? i see joyo has a 6 band eq i know this is not a review for that but let me know if you know anything about it?
