Its windy here. The temp is 24 but wind chill is 3 degrees. I've got a nice 🔥 fire and running the hotplate red hot from the wind generator to use the excess power. It's 76 degrees inside. I've slept all day except when I made some rice and carrots at noon.. I'm making coffee ☕ and some brownies with pecans. My cat is hibernating too..

Good evening Ellen, I have been staying home for the last 3 days. I've no need to go out, so I have been doing light house cleaning and watching some TV. Tomorrow I don't think I will go out. My my middle daughter is a nurse, she’s going to switch her career and go into hospice. Her daughter, my granddaughter is OB/GYN labor and delivery. I said Sophia, what use are you to me 😉your mom is, she’s a hospice nurse. I had a good laugh about that. You are right, sometimes we have to spend we go through a season of that and then a season of lull. I do the same thing; I have to buy what works for me and if it doesn’t, at least I tried. I love my little planner. I am so glad you showed this to us. I own a townhouse so we cannot have a generator, but I think that’s a wise investment. If I had a home, I would have a generator, especially in Massachusetts. I think Massachusetts electric is one of the highest in the country. 😡 the way, I always look at it when someone spews horrible things out of their mouth, I always think can you imagine what the inside of them looks like if this is what’s coming out on the outside? and I just pray for them. Wonderful calming video. I went to my friends baby shower today. It was such a great time.I sat with my pastors wife, my daughter, and my friend and her sister. They are Haitian so there was an abundance of wonderful food and it was so much fun. I know about the culture cause she has been my friend for over 10 years, but the gathering was an abundance of rich culture. I'm glad you had a good time at the shower. Maybe you could get a solar battery backup for emergencies. You can charge them up via an electrical outlet. Just a thought. I like my rechargeable lights and wall sconces.

i’m with you on hibernation in the winter i went out yesterday so today i stayed in all day didn’t go outside at all it’s too cold out only in the 20 s here for a high today i just wanna stay in til spring 😂i feel like winter is a time for us to let our bodies rest and get ready for the spring and summer and fall so i been reading a book and taking it easy . hubby went and bought me some nice curtain rods for our basement windows so i can put curtains up on them finally .

The reading today was perfect for me. So many times I feel insufficient but that is not true at all. God made us all the way he means us to be. I’ve always said I should have been a bear. Hibernate in winter and come out late spring. I’ve never been a fan of winter. I live in Western Arkansas and have milder winters than you do, but still too much for me
