I want to make a foam board RC vehicle of some sort to attach the foil to. It would be my own design and unique. I was thinking more of a Steam punk style design. That being said, that would be great in the winter pulling you across a snow covered field on skiis or some sort of snow board.

I actually have the exact same Kite , even the color ordered from Temu. Question...Seeing how it has two strings how can I get this kite really high. I can see if there's enough space to lay out all the extended string and kite could be laid out on the ground. How would a person go about getting it retrieved back to them or even better also be able to launch it on shorter amount of string and then let string out as it climbs seeing it has two strings

Let's ask some real question Can we use this thing to make an RC paraglider? actually i already order one but it's a bit smaller and cheaper i'll try it anyway lol
@alistairclark68142 жыл бұрын
I am going through this right now and I found the trim on kites is in too much of a stall position compared to a forward seeking wing like a paraglider. Still I have made a base jumping rig for my X-Maxx and it is going to stall a parachute today. 😜

@digital design........stop giving advice on something you obviously know nothing about. How would you fly an open cell kite with one line? What might really blow your mind, is the higher end versions of power/trainer kites come with four lines for better flying capabilities.
@ktom45362 жыл бұрын
Its best to get used to two before four. I used this before kite surfing

This is really cool! I am testing a base jumping rig for my RC truck I built from a very similar kite today! If it survives my next project is a slope soaring rc wingsuiter with a deployable parachute that can then be controlled like a paraglider on the slope.

Can you build a cardboard rc plane🤔🤔🤔
@scottfirman4 жыл бұрын
Check out the free down loadable Foam board planes on Flite Test. Cardboard doesn't work well for making a plane. Its just not thick enough, then when you try doubling it with glue, it becomes too heavy. Cutting it can be tough also. Owens dollar store foam board is lightweight and when sealed with Minwax sealer, it becomes water proof and handles moisture well. Cardboard cannot, even sealed, it warps too easily.

I have this exact same kite and I am having sorting out the rigging on it. It is all tangled up and arrived that way even though it was purchased brand new. Is there anywhere that anyone knows of online where I can find a detailed diagram so I can sort this out?
