Been in a relationship where I completely lost myself and felt that I had to "work" so hard for love and validation. Like for 5 years. I completely morphed into what I thought was the woman he needed... and still fell short all the time and never felt good enough, pretty enough like... wah!! He never let me be my authentic self.... the relationship had so many rules and guidelines and expectations... from dressing to conversations...
