I've found placing the Imagifer sister's hand further up the pole (just above the white section in the middle) helps a *lot* with getting the Simulacrum Imperialis (aka, that statue on top of the pole) to balance.

I just got my Idol bearer sister today !!! She is so glorious, I just can't get my eyes off her ! I have her on one knee holding the Idol (held with gummy tack)... she is going to convert me. I just wish she could look higher and that she had an open palm right hand, but that is nitpicking, I love her so much ! I might get the superior silver sister as well because I have a great price, but waiting for a further sale.

Awesome! Haha I've been converted already. I got one of the silver ladies on the strength of how great these gals are. I think this lot is definitely better. The unhelmeted heads have more character. I'm gonna keep checking the Ali deals!

oh man I've been wanting to start joytoy warhammer for quite some time now and I think these might be some of my very first joytoy warhammer figures. They look absolutely amazing and the amount of details they have in them is just insane !!! I was instantly sold on Jurel but I think I'm gonna get Cassia and Salem as well. What a great place to start! These will be high up in the best of 2023 for me. What's also impressive is the size. First getting them in hand and seeing the level of detail in this scale is truly breathtaking. Those three are the most popular! Have you found a retailer stocking them? There's limited stock unless Joytoy decide to reissue. I started watching a lot more 40k content from collecting this line. So much lore! Thanks a lot mate, appreciate it! 💀🙏

I absolutely love every 40k army, so it means a lot that SoBs are my favorite. I was leaning towards the masked melta gunner, but seeing them here has convinced me to get Kassia. She actually looks beautiful. I didn't think the female faces would work out, but JoyToy managed it. I just wish she included a normal bolter or pistol. Edit: Actually, they're doing Argent Shroud now and they look SO SICK with the silver armor and the red weapons

To be fair, you can't go wrong with either of those choices. Love both of those figures! Kassia is a good showcase of what Joytoy's new face tech can do. Their previous female faces were not great. Yup the Argent Shroud ladies look awesome! I'm gonna pick up the one with the white streak of hair. The one thing I'd say is that their faces look quite similar though, or is it just me?

My sisters of battle are on the way and I already have an idea or two on how to fix the bent power packs, but I won't speculate until I have them in hand. No plastic surgery and cutting implements involved :) I'll let you know as a reply to this comment if I'm successful. As for the Simulacrum Imperialis, I think I'm gonna make a round base with a hole for it, since the lower part looks like it was intended as a peg... but they didn't add a base for it in the end.

@@SkellywagsTV As promised, here I am with an update! So, I tried to straighten the backpack. The part it plugs into is not moulded into the torso, it's a separate piece glued to it into keyed holes. I heated it (A LOT!) along with the torso with a hair drier and then twisted the bejeezus outta it, which seemed to do the trick... Lo and behold, and hour later, after cooling off, it turned back to its bent postion like the damn Terminator T-1000. At the end of the day, I'll leave it be and give my OCD a slap, because I don't want to be more invasive. One other very interesting thing I discovered though, with my lovely assistant Kassia's help: the black part of the neck is a separate piece that plugs into the head. It was loose on mine, so when it fell off I was surprised to find that the head itself is build with a cylindrical hole much like pkba1577's custom heads! P.S. the bent backpack issue seems to be specific for some reason just to the torso that has the 3 skull ornament between the tiddies. I have the same issue with the ingenuous sister that shares it.

Damn. Well at least you gave it a good go! I hope they get the issue resolved so others don't have the same issue. Yeah I had the same problem with Ludwenna and her head. They're the same as the space marines, just smaller. The head works on other bodies. I currently have it on my acid rain Jessie custom. I've got the bent power packs on the same figures, I've had to get over it as well, I normally hate that sort of thing lol

Thanks for the deep dive into the sisters! ;) lol. I noticed a lot more. I was wrong, Jurel looks the most badass/bruiser and largest standing in a line. Shoulder movement limited and the guns are silver, was thinking they were black. Good point on the wrist joints! I Also, Noyalle really looks like Kassia model with different head and necklace. Maybe that's why only 3 sisters on the 2 new orders. I shake it down like this... Best Loadout - Noyalle because same as Kassis but with bolter. Best Badass - Jurel because looks larger and head sculpt. Favorite head sculpt - Tie between Sealon and Jurel Most likely to get asked to the Astartes Prom - Sister Superior Kassia Best Joy Toy Reviews - Skellywags, so sit down and shut up!

Hahaha was not expecting that at the end. Bravo! Jurel definitely looks like she's got a mean streak as well. I've equipped her with Noyalle's bolter pistol and a chainsword from one of my Krieg's. Saelon has her melta! Kassia definitely looks like she'd have all the space marines lining up to ask her to the Astartes prom lol

Love the in dept review ! I think going two hands might be the solution for the Image holder... or finding a base for it at least. I love my Havoc with the mortar ! I have him posed with mortar up a bit so we can see his beautiful shoulder. He is holding a chain sword in his right hand, a pistol with big mag on his left hand and his claw is holding another chain sword at an angle as well... very menacing haha and over the top in the best way

Very comprehensive review, thanks for comparing the sizes with other 1:18 figures, it's very clarifying for a first time buyer on the Warhammer 40k line :D I love the figures and how posable they are, I'm buying at least one of the sisters, and then check the upcoming similar characters in the line. Weird they added unarticulated replacement joints, I don't get it.

Cheers buddy! It's great that Joytoy kept these girls sized to fit in with their normal 4" stuff. It makes them that much more impressive! It's worth having at least one of these lovely ladies. From what I hear, there were complaints about the wrist pegs for Death Korps of Krieg and how easy they were to break. Personally, mine were fine, but I guess they wanted to include sturdier joints. Well, the additional joints they include are definitely sturdier, but at he cost of articulation lol

Ahh cheers for that info. Sounds like it's that specific upper torso that has the issue then. That's a shame. Not ideal, but at least it's not been distracting for me. I hate having to sort out replacements

Heat up the joints for about 40 seconds to soften the plastic. Either hairdryer or very hot water! The T bar joint connecting the legs and torso may give the most resistance, particularly the legs. The newer versions of the 2.0 arms are fixed pretty well too, unlike earlier iterations where if you raise the arms high enough laterally they would pop off. Good luck!

I guess it is a mix of plastic quantify, mold profitability (obvious on space marines considering the amount of reuse) and level of precision / amount of individual parts. Necrons are an odd price point indeed.

The sisters are so awesome! They're really well made. The soft plastic overlay was a nice surprise. It really helps the overall look. As Morgan said, space marines are getting cheaper the more they make. It looks like at least two of the Necron packs will have the exact same design, maybe that has something to do with why they're such a good price. Regardless, I'm glad they're not as expensive. I've already got all on pre-order. Was told recently that they've been pushed back a bit, so probably April release
