The fact that this song only has 20k views is criminal as hell. Any time I listen to it, I just get transported to a whole new world.

This song popped up on my Spotify extended playlist while I was having my "healing" late night bike ride around the city while everyone was partying (we have crazy nightlife scene here). When the pre-chorus hit while I was watching the city skyline and all the people from the distance I was freaking ascending. I started imaging movie scenes or even music videos and different cinematic angles of different parts of the downtown area. It was magical! Music truly is the best!

I'm just sitting here laughing at how weirdly relatable the album cover entery is "The poor fucking cactus didn't do anything."

Lyrics There was a night when my view of the whole world changed with a crack of an eggshell I lay my head to rest in the hands of pretty orange peeler, she said "Baby, don't be so down on yourself, at least not tonight, please" "Baby, don't be so down on yourself" [Verse 2] I realized that the moon shines like a pillowcase and creases like our comforter You think of me, I'll think of you as a place, as a home [Chorus] I hold onto your words like candlelight You hold onto mine like a pantomime [Verse 3] A selfless man with a back cut like photographs was pulling out my wisdom teeth He planted them in the backyard and they grow to be tall, strong orange trees The fruit was rotten but the dirt was expensive, that's all nature meant to me The fruit was rotten but the dirt was expensive [Chorus] I hold onto your words like candlelight You hold onto mine like a pantomime I hold onto your words like candlelight You hold onto mine like a pantomime

THERE WAS A TINY CACTUS ON MY DESK. I WAS ANGRY AND I SMASHED IT DOWN. THE POOR FUCKING CACTUS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. I KEPT THE NEEDLES IN MY FIST ALL AFTERNOON. I LEFT THE PIECES OF THE POT AND THE DIRT ON THE FLOOR FOR WEEKS. UNTIL MY MOM FINALLY PICKED IT UP.

@citrus @slog the distorted guitar chords are my favorite part. Some of us live in the cracks of chaos, others dwell in the comfortability of regularity. Neither is worse, they're just two ends of the same scale. The fact that we are different is so comforting. the difference is beautiful
