Looking back on my dance "career" I realized that my happiest time as a dancer was in a regional ballet company at 13 years old, dancing for the love of it, on a stage filled with other dancers. After that it was a struggle trying to find my way in ballet and modern dance, moving to NY and starting a dance production company. Thankfully through that effort I met my husband, we moved to Paris and then eventually had a family and moved back to the US. I am so glad I left the dance world when I did. I have a beautiful life now. I realized that Life brings us many beautiful things that initially we might have rejected but later come to find out are the richest and most joyful things. May your projects thrive Joy! I really enjoy hearing about your life in these chats.

Good for you! There will always be critics. Personal ones, professional ones. But no guts, no glory. Never let anyone dictate your future. You are the only one that has ‘control’ over you. No one else, even if they think they do. Pursue your dreams and live without regret. I hope this year is all you want it to be!
