This game shows very impressively, how much the developers of Stockfish improved the engine in positional play. They learned a lot from the battles with Leela, the engine developed from a pure tactical program to a universal playing style, and now it's supreme in every aspect of the game, also positional and endgame play. We saw this also happening in human chess, when we remember the almost endless battle between Anatoli Karpov and Garry Kasparov. Garry startet as an dynamic, sometimes over- enthusiastic attacking player, with lacks in strategic play and endgame techniques, but the world championship matches with Karpov formed him into an incredible alround monster, with supreme chess in every aspect of the game. Karpov was his best teacher. And the same nowadays with Stockfish and Leela. With every match between these two superstars of chess, Stockfish got stronger and better, especially after the Stockfish team adopted the new approach to chess that was invented by Alpha Zero, the neuronal network technology. Today, Stockfish is the most complete chess player the world has ever seen, and Leela was it's best teacher!😊 So, great parts of Stockfish's enormous success has been tributes of the Leela team!
