My brother and i watched the X-Men cartoon when we were kids. And we loved Morph, STORM , Rouge , Gambit Wolverine and Beast. I love what we're getting from Morph and I hope you get so much more 💪🤟🌹💐‼️

I just miss OG Morph’s laugh and wish the Sinister trauma would be addressed :/ Beyond the bit in episode 3, Morph has really felt like a cameo machine more than a character.

@@fewntug3760 He still has that laugh. Do they really need to address it? I don’t know. I don’t want to know the experiments that were done to him by sinister. Apparently his powers have advanced in 97 possibly because of sinister.

@@popsyturvee5112or because they want to make him more of a major character than he ever was. He was underutilized in the original, now he’s kind of over utilized. I’m hoping we get a nice medium with the next season.

@@ryanlevack9361 I don’t think he’s over-utilized. Overpowered maybe? They didn’t really explain his capabilities on how he became a better shapeshifter than Mystique. I guess it’s for us to figure out and assume it’s from the effects of Sinister.

I would love to see Morph connect with Mariko Yashida (especially as alternate reality Sunfire). Even if it doesn’t ultimately go anywhere like in the Exiles comics, I’d love to see them animated together.

Since Beau DeMayo (main writer) recently confirmed on his Twitter that the "I love you. Stay with me." line from episode 10 is meant to reveal Morph's romantic feelings for Logan, I wonder how will this play out. Sure, I'm not fond of yet another "gay pinning for straight dude" storyline, but I hope it'll serve a the purpose of making the following season as a whole spicier. 🔥

I've really connected with Morph's story as both a survivor and someone outside of the binary myself. Chronologically I see Morph presenting as a white man by default in the 90s due to safety and being assigned male at birth. They likely came out after doing some healing and discovering which presentation and pronouns felt right for them. Singular use of "they" as a neutral pronoun predates the 2000s, and given the straightwashing of history, it's easy to see why people think otherwise. It was a bit disheartening to hear JP cite the decade to discount a gender identity that predates colonial norms. Then to also acknowledge Morph's official pronouns and exclusively refer to them with masculine pronouns hurt too, especially from JP. Thanks for the video, looking forward to episode 10!

I'm in my 40s & gay, & I was in college in the late 90s/early 2000s and I NEVER heard anyone use the term "non-binary, they, them, etc." --- not even in the clubs & other gay spaces or even the media back then. So he's not incorrect. Might there have been 1 or 2 people here & there that I never met that used it occasionally --- of course. But given how long I've been alive & never having heard it in all my 40+ years --- not until around 2015 or so, it definitely was far from a common term.

@dominiquedevereux7205 I have no doubts that it wasn't used in the mainstream around that time, but to say it didn't exist just because it wasn't something he experienced discounts an important demographic. The "T" is often erased from "LGB" due to privilege and other biases, this seemed to be another case of that to me.

Hey I mean I know it’s an alternate universe Wolverine, but he is in a relationship with Hercules😂😂 so I personally don’t think that Wolverine has to be straight in this adaptation👀 I mean he could always be bisexual because honestly that’s a relationship I never knew I needed😂

I like JP is so grounded and not pushed the 🌈 in the series just because he is in real life . Let people be people and the morph character in the series be what he is . I didn’t like the “them” thing from ep9 in a 90s show but the writers didn’t focus too much on this “issue” . I like 99,99% of this show and they only sprinkled it a bit here and there but didn’t bother me at all. Sometimes is so over the top it can be irritating and it puts people off from seeing it. I was a big 92 fan back then so Iam so glad this is a huge hit!!!
