JP Pietersen - The Ultimate Tribute

JP Pietersen is a Springbok legend. I think it was difficult playing with Bryan Habana in the Springbok team as everyone remembers Habana's efforts, but people tend to forget how brilliant Pietersen was. He scored some amazing tries in his Sharks and Springbok career, and here are the best of them.

Mine too! His tackle in the 2007 World Cup final was what turned SA rugby around forever!!! Most look at his attacking ability but few look at what an amazing defender JP was. Forever a fan! Was always awesome to watch him play! A true rugby mastermind

Bigger than you realized, faster than he looked, and could step you or go through you. The fellow on the other wing wasn't half bad either for the Boks :)

I remember seeing his first game against the Leopards and him scoring those 4 tries. Despite his young age it was clear that he would be amazing. He was world class and composed from the very start.

Looking at the Sharks teams that Pietersen played in ,with skillful,dynamic players like Brent Russell, Keagan Daniel, Kankowski ,Adrian Jacobs makes me feel even more miserable seeing the current Sharks guppies
