Way to go JP. Nothing beats the value/price of a WSM for quality cooks and the fun to modify. Cajun Bandit has some great quality mods and accessories. Another good video JP!

J.P., I suppose it was T-Roy (for various cooking methods), Phil n Florence (WSM mods and cooks), and finally Harry Soo (mastering WSMs and care) that really pursuaded me to look at WSMs. I picked up a a useful one for $275 that had some of the upgrades. Very versatile cooker and portable to boot!

Hey JP, nice walk thru on the mods. Lookin good. What a nice gift from Pete. Seems to be missing the front handle to lift it with. You can pick one up cheap on Amazon. When that cooker is hot you need it to lift the lid. Can't wait to see you cook on it. Nice SS Baskets too.

J.P. , thank you for these videos. I did not have a lot of faith in myself as I've never drilled into a grill before. After watching all of your WSM mod videos and others on You Tube, I found my courage. I just put the hinge on with no real problems. Next up is the door and then I have to figure out some handles. I put in a small order to your website today to help your channel. Please consider adding more Keto/sugar free rubs or use something keto friendly like Lakanto for keto rubs. Thank you again!

That is too awesome. Im glad that the videos help. I just love that lid hinge, makes it so much easier to work with. Thanks so much for placing an order I really appreciate the support. I will talk with my co-packer at our next meeting and mention a Keto alternative. Sounds like a good idea, and again thank. you for your support.

I’m buying the 22.5 in a few days. Can you use larger wheels (3”) with that kit? Those wheels look really small.
@JPBBQ4 жыл бұрын
Hey there Horace, appreciate you watching and commenting. You probably can, you would need to add a plate of some kind to the base of the leg kit in order to accommodate the bigger wheels. I would probably go a hardware store and buy 4" metal box covers, you can find them in the electrical dept, drill some holes in it to mount to the leg kit then mount the bigger size wheel to that. I would also look for wheels that have a threaded stud on them. You would not need the kit, then just drill you some holes in the bottom of the legs. you would also need to brace the legs because it may it wobble on you. there is a good video over on Phil n Florence youtube channel on it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXmri2yGerSYrNU thanks again

J P You Should check out Bbq smoker mods they have some nice cool touch handles you can put on vents makes it easy to adjust vents they are 3.95 a piece and check out the firedial while your there. Nice addition for certain cooks. And last but not least get a ugly drum hanging rack. And of course check out Phil in Florence mod for third shelf. It makes a grilling machine if you need it and a lot more available real estate when you need it great demonstration be looking forward to future cooks on this, and of coarse the LSG. Smoke on 👍

Nice Video Brother! But one question if i may ask please? Does the lid hinge make the cooker top heavy or unstable? i imagine with it loaded up with food it should be solid, but empty it looks a little tippy? I"m Subscribed. Rock On. \m/,
@JPBBQ4 жыл бұрын
Appreciate you watching Eddie, thats a great question. The lid hinge is a great add on to the WSM. It might be a little unstable but not much. Once you put a basket of charcoal in the bottom it would take some force to tip it over. But I have not had an issue with it tipping over. Appreciate you asking. thanks for watching. 🤔👍🏼😎
