I just installed the Big Shots PCX a week ago, along with a FP4 tune on my softail standard. These pipes absolutely rip, my bike pulls super strong through all rpm’s and sounds amazing!

On the PCX RR pipe, how hard would it be to get the catalytic material out?

I think the sell a decatted version as well. However I’ve heard with the m8 the stock engine likes it with a cat

@@Bananwaffles I have had the cat in mine. It tames down the exhaust sound and actually makes it very quiet. Plus the engine sounds restricted. Ordered the de catted replacement baffles and it ripppps now!!!!!

Called Vance and Hines and all the PCX catalytic converters do is reduce the noise and make it EPA compliant. It’s BS. They offer baffles to remove that crap. I ordered the replacement baffles and it has even better low and mid range torque and sounds like a beast!!!

Love my big shots Everyone has short shots, they are everywhere Iv never seen another bike in my area with the big shots So is this new tech in all the big shots or is it so new that only the newest big shots have the pcx?

I have this pipe on both of my bikes, sounds great but what I do not like is when you deaccelerate is SUPER QUIET... Any way to remove the baffles?

These are pcx version. They are alot quieter than the old version.

I'm looking into some Big Radius as well for my 21 bob, I'm guessing since they have cats there won't be any warranty issues lol. Do they sound as good as the non cat version I wander?

The closer a catalytic converter is to the exhaust port the more efficient. That’s why they do it on production vehicles. It saves millions of dollars.
