Haha I'm a bit late but I always interpreted as in his whole music persona is so different to today's music industry. Everything has to sound the most listenable for the wider audience and most Mainstream artist can't drop songs that are different. And Peggy whole style in music and appearance is slutty nothing is for the wider audience he has all the control over his Music and what certain elements sound. A lot of people don't like his Style cause it might so too raw or even unconventional even if "LP" is his most listenable Album for a wider audience. And with "even yo gotta try" it's just that he probably has inspired more aritsit to kinda go the same rout of experimental, raw music with giving no fuck about the mainstream or the label

I had the same kinda experience with this album I sat on this album for about a year only coming away liking a few songs from it because I was listening to the streaming version. Then I decided to check out the offline version finally and my third eye was definitely opened it's the definitive version of the project incredible start to finish. I'm glad it's out on streaming platforms now

At this point im just constantly listening to this Album cause his rapping just suit the beats perfectly every song is so different and unique in its own Way. The Samples in DIKEMBE, Hazard Duty Pay, OG and What Kind of Rappin is this are just so meaningful and beautiful to listen to and when listening to them especially in DIKEMBE you can listen the Original but with the production of Peggy its just much more "Soul" behind the Voice its truly AMAZING.

REBOUND! and THE GHOST OF RANKING DREAD! both address a beef Peggy has with another hip hop duo named Armand Hammer, who apparently have a dispute with each other over them using one of Peggy’s beats and him taking legal action or something like that. REBOUND! is much more in your face and confrontational about the beef while THE GHOST OF RANKING DREAD! is more pointed and direct.
